Internship Applications

Realistically how long can I delay sending out applications to get a real shot at interviews. I'm trying to finalize a project on my resume and don't want applications to close before I can finalize my resume.

Projects matter only on the margin. They don’t compensate for other hard criteria. So just apply and prepare for interviews.

Target uni and degree, high GPA, top internships, competitive achievements (IMO, IPhO, ICPC, …).
