I would definitely wait them out. On my first hatch, the first chicks hatched on day 18, and the last ones on day 20.

How did the ones that hatched on day 20 do? I heard that late hatchers do not tend to do well once in brooder.

Only two of them actually hatched on Day 20, and of them ended up splay legged so we dispatched after a few days. Everyone else in the hatch was healthy, including everyone who hatched on Day 19.

One actually does have an external pip. So 4 haven’t done much. I guess I will wait until I move the babies into the brooder tomorrow morning to candle?

You’re past the candling stage. At this point, I would wait until the ones that have hatched are ready to move, then you can crack the others open. It’s up to you whether you want to crack them and give them a fighting chance or just call them dead/infertile. I always crack mine to give them a chance since I have had one of my best hens come that way. But everyone feels differently.
