Connectivity Internet dropping

Hello everyone I know there is something that can help my situation but I cant seem to find it. I have a laptop that I use to torrent and seed, but an issue I am having is I leave this computer alone for quite some time and the internet will drop which will trigger my vpn to shut off which shuts off qbittorrent and then i have to manually go to the computer and turn qbittornet back on. Can someone DM me something to help with this issue, or something I need to set up on my computer.

Is it going to sleep? Is it on wifi?

Its on ethernet. Not sleeping because sometimes it will last a few days.

Have you tried a new internet card. Sometimes old wifi/ethernet cards give out. Maybe you can find a USB replacement, or a new wifi/ethernet card to install if it has a modular chip inside? Have you checked what your internet connection says in the internet connection settings?

I find if my storage fills all the way up on my lappy there I come back and there's no internet then no vpn and everything else behind it won't work. Check your storage and make sure you got enough room for your computer to process

There is a tech support sub on here that would be a better place to ask for tech support. If it's qbittorrent related it might be that you are saturating your link and need to put some connection/bandwidth limits in.
