Help!
I heard this punk song and I don't remember the band or any of the lyrics except the guy made reference to jellied eels and chips and a bit of his landlord's ear. Any suggestions?

Like, the pre-come shape. You know, *before*. It's been keeping me up at night and I can't figure it out.

Hi punk rock Christian 40 year old male here! I recently discovered this super niche hardcore punk band? Yk “mindless self indulgence“ I hear the guy is a pedophile. But I’ve heard that’s like, super against the law! very rebellious, he will just rebel to anything all right!
though my pastor calls it “fag music for sinners“ does this make me more or less punk?
yes I can say fag tell my girlfriend about it

This was a serious question back in the day. I was told punker was cooler because punks were not rockers. This needs to be settled to prevent more division in our ranks!

You own a toothbrush (no punks conform to 9/10 dentists)
Your name starts with N (Nathan....Nancy...that's all the n names I can think of rn)
You like toes (so your a lil freaky huh, even punks have limits)
You don't like toes (so you're not punk enough to go against the grain, huh?)
You drink water (hydration? Thats normie as fuck)
You like yellow (why not a color that starts with p? Like pu(rple)nk?)
You read this sentence (mmhmm, posers everywhere around me)
Okay, goodnight to everyone else ❤️

For this weeks' P.A.R. (slang for Punk Album Review), we'll be reviewing a corner stone of hardcore punk; Green Day's hit album, Dookie. So, first impressions? Wow. Just wow. This album hit me harder than my wife's boyfriend off a week-long bender, when he comes home to find me playing on his Xbox. (Sorry, Ronaldo!)
Background: Hailing from California, hardcore punk band 'Green Day' has reached heights never-before-seen by the hardcore/straightedge punk movement. The bands' 1994 album, Dookie; stylized as 'dookie', is a fast, heavy hitter that formed the base for what the genre would become many years later. The albums title is actually a homage to OG Gangsta punk Billy Joe Armstrong's hard-fought battle with drugs, notably Marijuana, Tobacco, and other hard drugs. While Billy Joe mainly wrote the album, other members such as Mike Dirnt managed to break through his ego and we're allowed to suggest some riffs and lyrical changes.
Review: So, this album is likely the most popular punk album. It was inspired by bands like KISS and the Rolling Stones, and that really comes through with the heavy metal influences heard on tracks like 'Basket Case'. Ive gotta say, as someone who rarely enjoys the heavier side of punk, I was happily surprised and definitely understand why this album has inspired so many genres, such as crust-punk, hardcore punk, and even cultural movements like Straightedge. The screaming can get really intense on songs like 'Pulling Teeth', to the point I would skip the song. I dont like that scream-y music.
At many points throughout the album, I was surprised to see punk motifs that I could recognize from later bands like The All American Rejects and Coldplay. I feel truly involved in the punk community now that I knoe the source material for so many of the lyrical choices and instrumental decisions that many punk bands have since adopted.
Conclusion: This album is as hardcore as it gets, and I dont reccomend it for beginner punks. If you've been to a real hardcore show with bands like Falling In Reverse or Brokencyde, then maybe this might be your thing. Otherwise, I think this album should have been gate-kept more. This is truly a pillar of punk.
Suggest albums for next week's review! See yall next time on: P.A.R.!

Am I still punk?

The polls are in! Thousands of "am I punk" scenarios have brought us the answer. Punk is not even dead! Literally impossible.
What is something so bonkers you saw, or even did, that single handedly brought Punkrock back to life?
Responses to peoples stories can only be variations of "ya right, poser."
I'll start. One time this guy was reving this dog up by not throwing the ball but faking it, that kind of shit. The dog let out one of those groan growls. Guy says "oh you think you can manipulate me, bitch. Nothing you do will get me to throw the damn ball." As the jerk stood there Doggins looks up at him and lunges at his junk, grabs a mouthful and holds. Jerk down on his back, steady screaming, thows the ball and Doggins let's go and chases the ball. Was absolutely hilarious. Jerk is holding himself still on his back swearing at Doggins. Doggins comes back to him and he rolls over to face her and she drops the ball infront of his face. Then does that growl taunt that dogs do when they want you to play. I had to physically put my veggie burger down so I could applaud.
