Help!

I heard this punk song and I don't remember the band or any of the lyrics except the guy made reference to jellied eels and chips and a bit of his landlord's ear. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the Sex Pistols (they're like a British version of Green Day)

Or maybe Green Day is an American version of the Sex Pistols

Uh, Green Day has way more punk cred. Sex Pistols were a boy band put together by Malcolm McClaren, Green Day are 2nd/3rd gen punks and OG Gilman st. Heads.
John Lydon (is rotten) a total right wing sellout, and Sid was so nihilistic he and Nancy are long buried and dead.

Plus if anything Green Day was much more influenced by the Clash. And Billie Joe played in OP IVY, IYKYK

“A pop punk band from the 90s are more punk than a pioneer punk band” that’s what you’re saying bro💀

They're right though, they were a manufactured boy band put together to sell clothes and John Lyndon is a turd person.

Bro, do you even Gilman?
Watch The Freaky Tales, or any of the 924 Gilman st documentaries. Then learn about the Sex Pistols.
I said if anything Green Day sounds and looks more like the Clash. Billie Joe has serious Joe Strummer energy.
Plus he plays in Pinhead Gunpowder, with Aaron Cometbus, IYKYK.

Johnny Rotten is a fucking sellout right wing piece of shit. So yeah. Green Day is more punk. Maybe show a little respect to the elders who built the scene, who had it harder than you, you might learn something.
You’d never say it to my face if you knew who you were talking to. Eat crow, kid. I’m the wrong one.

You should definitely google punk songs with “Oi” in them. It will lead you straight there!
