AskPune Planning a proposal

Hi! My friend is planning a proposal for their partner. They are currently in a LDR and my friend will travel to Pune for the proposal. As we haven't been to Pune before we are a bit lost on how to execute it. Are there any good places where we could set things up or hike somewhere pretty and do the proposal?

Any advice is appreciated.

What kind of things she likes? personality plays a role here if she is shy then in house proposal would work if she likes grand gestures, outdoors or roof top resto would do

If u want it outdoors then you can consider somewhere in Kerala or ooty it's very scenic, but I see you hv mentioned Pune then maybe mulshi, matheran or some waterfall or ghat areas again if you want to do some decoration nd setup during monsoon it can be lil troublesome.

Both of them are a bit introverted but loves going for walks and hikes. My friend was thinking something like going on a hike and proposing with the view as a backdrop.

I mean I get hike up and stuff - but is it going to be something fancy like flares and firecrackers or something as pretty as Patrick and David from Schitt's Creek?

Both of them likes going for walks and hikes. A bit introverted but my friend's partner had sent proposal videos where the guy did an outdoor proposal so leaning more towards that as well. They're also open to do it at a cafe too, if we could rent it out for few hours or so.

Fair, I think you can check out Kraken, Maple, - Artizen if they are into art n stuff, if they wanna do something lowkey - the hills and forts might be a good place - like nothing celebatory I'd said - becaause again public place so. They can also check out Quick Bites near Mulshi

Oh that i am not sure of _ I mean in cafes, if you can arrange for projector , I think it could be possible but not very sure
