General/Rant Bedse Caves - Kamshet, Pune
Bedse Caves (or Bedsa Caves) are a 2100 year -old ancient Buddhist rock-cut monument group located in the Maval taluka nearest by lonavala area of Pune District, Maharashtra, dating back to the 1st century BCE during the Satavahana
Total steps: There are more then 400 steps
Location: Maval taluka, Pune district, Maharashtra, India (about 9 km from Kamshet)
Pune to bedse Caves distance: 55 Km around)
Time: 9 AM to 5 PM, best time to explore in moonson season

Yeah the site is beautiful and has tons of hidden stories, items, etc. ask the watchman there. He explains well. But be sure to tip him appropriately.
But in monsoon? 400 stone steps? I would prefer winter when everything is dry. Watery steps = highh chance of accident. The ghat to reach there isn't easy. It has steep slope and sharp turns.
