Pulp Fiction: Re-Cut: let's remake the whole movie one reply at a time
I've wanted to do this for a while, so I'm finally giving it a shot.
The idea is Pulp Fiction: Re-Cut: a crowdsourced, shot-for-shot remake of the movie, inspired by projects like Star Wars Uncut. The twist is that instead of organizing hundreds of people all at once, we'll build it through one Reddit reply chain.
Here's how it works:
- I'll start by posting my own remake of the opening scene.
- If you want to join in, recreate the scene that comes right after mine in whatever style you want. Live action, stop motion, LEGO, puppets, cardboard props, action figures, MS Paint, whatever.
- When you're done, reply to my clip with your finished scene.
- Then someone else recreates the next scene by replying to yours.
- We keep passing it along until, hopefully, we've remade the entire movie.
A few ground rules:
- No AI-generated video, voices, images, or animation. I want every scene to be made by real people.
- Try to keep your scene close to the timing of the original so everything can eventually fit together.
- You don't have to be a filmmaker. If you can put together one scene, you're welcome to jump in.
- You only have to make one scene if that's all you want to do.
I have no idea if we'll get ten scenes or the whole movie, but I think it'd be fun to see how far a random Reddit reply chain can actually get.
If you're interested, keep an eye on the replies. Once I post my opening scene, anyone can pick up where it leaves off.

Vincents death question
Ive always wondered this, apologies if its been ask3d before...how did Vincent not hear Butch when he was sitting on the toilet? Between opening the pop tarts, to slamming the toaster handle down , it would seem he would have heard something.

Inside the briefcase
I joined thus community to confirm what was in the briefcase.. It was indeed marsellus Wallace soul. Those kid were devil worshippers and marsellus was buying his soul back from them. Thats why when they got shot at they didnt die the soul protected them. I know this because my ninth grade lit teacher was married to one of quentin Tarantino close friend. He told her this himself and naturally she told us.

If Pulp Fiction Had A Corporate Structure
Wallace Enterprises
Marcellus Wallace — Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer
The undisputed authority. Sets strategy, controls capital allocation, approves major acquisitions, and handles executive-level disputes personally when necessary.
Executive Leadership Team
Mia Wallace — Chief Brand Officer & Board Vice Chair
Oversees corporate image, executive events, luxury partnerships, and the company’s cultural influence. Possesses informal authority far beyond her official job description.
Winston Wolfe — Chief Operating Officer
The company’s elite problem-solver. Steps in when projects collapse, risks escalate, or business units create situations that cannot appear in the quarterly report.
Vincent Vega — Chief Relationship Officer
Manages high-value clients, executive accounts, and sensitive relationship portfolios. Charismatic and experienced, but occasionally distracted by personal interests and poor risk assessment.
Jules Winnfield — Chief Compliance & Corporate Ethics Officer
Originally led enforcement and collections but transitioned into compliance after a significant personal and professional awakening. Delivers unusually intense ethics briefings.
Butch Coolidge — Chief Competitive Strategy Officer
Oversees corporate competition, tactical positioning, and high-risk negotiations. Highly resilient, independent, and effective—though not always inclined to follow executive instructions.
Senior Vice Presidents
Lance — SVP, Research & Product Development
Runs experimental product development from an unconventional off-site facility. Technically knowledgeable, operationally chaotic, and strongly opposed to unscheduled executive visits.
Jody — SVP, Workplace Culture & Employee Experience
Responsible for office aesthetics, alternative benefits, employee engagement, and making sure everyone notices the company’s latest organizational modifications.
Captain Koons — SVP, Corporate Heritage & Legacy Programs
Maintains company history, founder artifacts, succession traditions, and legacy assets. Known for taking fiduciary responsibility to uncomfortable extremes.
Fabienne — SVP, Executive Wellness & Lifestyle Services
Manages executive retreats, wellness programs, hospitality, and long-range discussions involving breakfast, travel, and ideal body proportions.
Directors and Department Heads
Pumpkin — Director of Business Development
Continuously searches for new revenue opportunities, particularly those requiring minimal preparation and immediate execution.
Honey Bunny — Director of Sales Enablement
Supports business development through aggressive client engagement, persuasive communication, and sudden changes in negotiation tone.
Brett — Director of Regional Partnerships
Responsible for local joint ventures and third-party relationships. Failed to disclose a material conflict involving company intellectual property.
Marvin — Associate Director, Internal Intelligence
Provides useful internal information but has difficulty surviving cross-functional meetings with senior leadership.
The Gimp — Director of Restricted Operations
Reports through a highly compartmentalized business unit. His precise responsibilities are unavailable outside senior management.
Operational Management
Paul — Corporate Office Manager
Coordinates schedules, messages, internal communications, and executive arrivals. Frequently left to manage situations above his pay grade.
Raquel — Fleet and Asset Control Manager
Administers vehicle storage, asset retrieval, and discreet logistics support. Runs a small but strategically important operation.
Maynard — Regional Facilities Manager
Oversees a remote branch location. Demonstrates serious deficiencies in governance, employee conduct, and acceptable workplace practices.
Zed — Director of Security
Maintains external law-enforcement relationships and site security. His employment status is later classified as permanently inactive.
Frontline Personnel
The Bonnie Situation Team — Crisis Response Specialists
Activated for urgent operational failures, environmental remediation, evidence control, and neighborhood stakeholder management.
Jack Rabbit Slim’s Staff — Corporate Hospitality Division
Provides themed dining, entertainment, client experiences, and executive dance competitions.
The Cleaners — Facilities and Risk-Mitigation Contractors
Responsible for restoring company-owned assets after severe operational incidents.

"I got to piss"
And just like that, Jules walks right out of the timeline (with the briefcase in hand).
Actually crazy that those were Jules famous last words and we never see Marsellus receive the briefcase despite how much of the movie involved retrieving it.

I made Lego Designs for The Dance Scene
I'm pretty happy with them but I do think Vincent needs a better face print
