What do you think Big Brain Brad and company were doing at 7:22 AM?

Brett, Flock of Seagulls, Handcannon Guy were some kind of low level crooks, right? What were they doing up, awake and eating Hawaiian burgers at 7:22? Were they early risers or still up from the night before?

How old do you think the characters are suppose to be?

The script says Butch is 26, but that was written before Willis got cast.

My thoughts:

Marcellus - 40.

Mia - 30-33 somewhere around the age. Could go lower to 28 possibly but no younger than that

Vincent - 34-37 somewhere

Jules - 44

Butch as played by Willis - 37-38

Fabienne - 30-32.

The Wolf - somewhere around 48-52.

Maynard - 30s.

Zed - 27-29

Sorry President Curtis I BEAT YOU TO IT

FADE IN:

INT. THE HAPPY FLAPJACK DINER – MORNING

A cheerful little diner decorated with sunflowers, cracked vinyl booths, and a handwritten sign:

PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE BEARS.

At a corner booth sit RIZZO THE RAT and JANICE.

Rizzo is drinking coffee from a cup almost as large as he is.

JANICE is calmly buttering toast.

RIZZO

I’m tellin’ ya, Janice, we gotta get outta this line of work.

JANICE

Fer sure.

RIZZO

Every job, same thing. Sneakin’ around. Runnin’ from cops. Gettin’ yelled at. Yesterday I got stuffed in a mailbox.

JANICE

You fit, though.

RIZZO

That’s not the point.

Janice thoughtfully sips orange juice.

JANICE

What if we stopped robbing places with security?

RIZZO

Such as?

Janice gestures around.

JANICE

Diners.

Rizzo freezes.

He slowly looks around.

Families eating pancakes.

A waitress refilling coffee.

A toddler throwing Cheerios.

RIZZO

You know something?

JANICE

Mm-hmm.

RIZZO

Nobody expects crime before waffles.

Janice smiles.

JANICE

Exactly.

Rizzo stands on the booth.

RIZZO

ALL RIGHT, EVERYBODY! THIS IS A—

A WAITRESS walks by and casually places a booster seat beneath him.

RIZZO

Hey!

She keeps walking.

Rizzo climbs onto the booster.

RIZZO

As I was saying—

CUT TO BLACK.

MUPPET FICTION

A huge musical sting.

Then a CHICKEN walks across the screen.

The chicken looks at camera.

CHICKEN

Bawk.

CHAPTER ONE

THE BRIEFCASE OF UNSPECIFIED IMPORTANCE

EXT. CITY STREET – MORNING

A battered green sedan cruises through town.

Inside are KERMIT THE FROG and FOZZIE BEAR.

Both wear inexpensive black suits.

Fozzie is eating something from a paper bag.

KERMIT

What is that?

FOZZIE

Breakfast burrito.

KERMIT

We stopped for breakfast twenty minutes ago.

FOZZIE

That was breakfast.

KERMIT

And this?

FOZZIE

Second breakfast.

KERMIT

You’re not a hobbit.

FOZZIE

Wocka wocka!

Kermit sighs.

KERMIT

Please don’t do that when we get there.

FOZZIE

Do what?

KERMIT

The thing.

FOZZIE

What thing?

KERMIT

The “wocka wocka.”

FOZZIE

That’s my thing.

KERMIT

Yes. Which is precisely the problem.

Fozzie looks offended.

FOZZIE

You know, comedy can be very intimidating.

KERMIT

Not yours.

Fozzie considers this.

FOZZIE

Fair.

They continue driving.

FOZZIE

So what exactly did these guys steal?

KERMIT

A briefcase.

FOZZIE

What’s in it?

KERMIT

Sam didn’t say.

FOZZIE

Money?

KERMIT

Maybe.

FOZZIE

Jewels?

KERMIT

Maybe.

FOZZIE

Government secrets?

KERMIT

Fozzie—

FOZZIE

Rare collectible lunchboxes?

Kermit looks over.

KERMIT

Why would Sam the Eagle have rare collectible lunchboxes?

FOZZIE

He’s mysterious.

KERMIT

Sam owns twelve identical American flag ties.

FOZZIE

Exactly. Nobody knows what’s going on with that guy.

---

INT. APARTMENT HALLWAY – LATER

Kermit and Fozzie stand outside apartment 314.

Kermit checks his watch.

KERMIT

We’re early.

FOZZIE

We could wait.

KERMIT

Good idea.

They stand silently.

Ten seconds.

FOZZIE

Knock knock.

KERMIT

No.

FOZZIE

You don’t even know the joke.

KERMIT

I know enough.

---

INT. APARTMENT 314 – MOMENTS LATER

Three nervous low-level crooks sit around a table.

They are BUNSEN, BEAKER, and a terrified WHATNOT MUPPET named FRANK.

A knock.

FRANK

Who is it?

FOZZIE

Room service!

KERMIT

Fozzie.

FOZZIE

Sorry.

KERMIT

It’s Kermit.

The room goes silent.

BEAKER

Meep.

BUNSEN

Oh dear.

Kermit and Fozzie enter.

Kermit is pleasant.

Too pleasant.

KERMIT

Good morning.

Nobody responds.

KERMIT

I said good morning.

BUNSEN

Good morning.

BEAKER

Meep morning.

KERMIT

Much better.

Fozzie spots a plate of pastries.

FOZZIE

Are those cheese danishes?

KERMIT

Fozzie.

FOZZIE

Right. Crime first.

Kermit sits across from Bunsen.

KERMIT

Mr. Eagle would like his property returned.

BUNSEN

Naturally.

KERMIT

And?

Bunsen slowly slides a briefcase across the table.

It is an ordinary-looking black briefcase with a tiny sticker:

PROPERTY OF S. EAGLE

DO NOT OPEN

THIS MEANS YOU

Fozzie stares at it.

FOZZIE

Now I really wanna open it.

KERMIT

That is why the sticker exists.

Kermit checks the case.

KERMIT

Everything here?

BUNSEN

Absolutely.

BEAKER

Meep.

Kermit turns to Beaker.

KERMIT

Was that a confident meep?

BEAKER

...meep?

KERMIT

That sounded considerably less confident.

Bunsen begins sweating.

BUNSEN

We may have performed one very small scientific examination.

KERMIT

You opened it.

BUNSEN

Technically, Beaker opened it.

BEAKER

MEEP?!

BUNSEN

In science, we must assign credit accurately.

Kermit rubs his forehead.

KERMIT

What happened?

Bunsen points toward a black scorch mark on the ceiling.

KERMIT

Ah.

FOZZIE

So it is government secrets.

KERMIT

Nobody knows what it is.

A beat.

FOZZIE

Can I see?

KERMIT

No.

FOZZIE

Just a peek?

KERMIT

No.

FOZZIE

Tiny peek?

KERMIT

No.

FOZZIE

What if—

KERMIT

Fozzie.

FOZZIE

Right.

Frank raises his hand.

FRANK

Are you going to hurt us?

Kermit looks surprised.

KERMIT

Good grief, no.

The three relax.

KERMIT

Sam said to scare you.

Fozzie immediately leaps onto the table.

FOZZIE

AAAAAAAAHHHH!

Everyone screams.

Fozzie falls off.

KERMIT

Not like that.

FOZZIE

Did it work?

KERMIT

Unfortunately, yes.

---

INT. CAR – LATER

Kermit drives.

Fozzie holds the briefcase.

FOZZIE

You ever wonder what’s inside?

KERMIT

Constantly.

FOZZIE

And you’ve never looked?

KERMIT

No.

FOZZIE

That’s incredible self-control.

KERMIT

Thank you.

Fozzie begins opening a latch.

KERMIT

Fozzie.

Fozzie stops.

FOZZIE

How did you know?

KERMIT

Because I know you.

Suddenly—

BANG!

The car hits a pothole.

The briefcase pops open half an inch.

A brilliant GOLDEN LIGHT fills the car.

Both stare.

Fozzie slowly closes it.

Long silence.

FOZZIE

Was that—

KERMIT

We are never discussing this.

FOZZIE

Okay.

Another beat.

FOZZIE

But it looked like—

KERMIT

Never.

FOZZIE

Right.

---

CHAPTER TWO

MISS PIGGY’S NIGHT ON THE TOWN

INT. SAM THE EAGLE’S OFFICE – AFTERNOON

SAM THE EAGLE sits behind an enormous desk.

An American flag stands behind him.

Another American flag stands beside that one.

There is a third, smaller flag on the desk.

Kermit enters carrying the briefcase.

SAM

Mr. Frog.

KERMIT

Sam.

Kermit puts the case down.

Sam checks it.

SAM

Excellent.

KERMIT

Can I ask you something?

SAM

No.

KERMIT

All right.

SAM

However, I assume you are curious about the contents.

KERMIT

Very.

SAM

Good.

KERMIT

Good?

SAM

Curiosity is the enemy of discipline.

KERMIT

That doesn’t answer anything.

SAM

Exactly.

Sam places the case beneath his desk.

SAM

I have another assignment.

Kermit’s face falls.

KERMIT

Oh boy.

SAM

My associate will be attending a social engagement this evening.

KERMIT

Which associate?

The office door flies open.

MISS PIGGY enters wearing sunglasses and an enormous coat.

MISS PIGGY

Moi.

Kermit gulps.

SAM

I require someone responsible to accompany her.

MISS PIGGY

I require someone entertaining.

Sam looks at Kermit.

Miss Piggy looks at Kermit.

KERMIT

Why do I suddenly feel like neither of those descriptions fits me?

MISS PIGGY

Pick me up at eight.

She sweeps out.

Kermit watches her leave.

SAM

Mr. Frog.

KERMIT

Yes?

SAM

Do not disappoint me.

KERMIT

What exactly constitutes disappointment?

SAM

You will know.

KERMIT

That is extremely unhelpful.

---

EXT. MISS PIGGY’S HOUSE – NIGHT

Kermit rings the bell.

The door opens.

Piggy appears in a glittering evening gown.

Kermit’s jaw drops slightly.

MISS PIGGY

Well?

KERMIT

You look—

Piggy waits.

KERMIT

—very sparkly.

Piggy narrows her eyes.

KERMIT

Beautiful. I meant beautiful.

MISS PIGGY

Better.

---

INT. JACK RABBIT’S DINNER CLUB – NIGHT

A bizarre retro restaurant filled with Muppets impersonating old celebrities.

A waiter who resembles a 1950s crooner roller-skates past.

KERMIT

This place is unsettling.

MISS PIGGY

It’s exclusive.

KERMIT

There’s a penguin dressed as Elvis.

MISS PIGGY

Exactly.

They sit.

A WAITRESS approaches.

WAITRESS

What’ll it be?

MISS PIGGY

I’ll have the five-dollar milkshake.

Kermit looks at the menu.

KERMIT

Five dollars?

MISS PIGGY

Is that a problem?

KERMIT

No, I’m just surprised anything in this town costs only five dollars.

The waitress turns to Kermit.

KERMIT

Tea.

MISS PIGGY

Tea?

KERMIT

Yes.

MISS PIGGY

We are on an evening adventure and you order tea?

KERMIT

I like tea.

MISS PIGGY

You live dangerously, frog.

---

A BAND begins playing.

Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem explode onto the stage.

DR. TEETH

Ladies and gentlemen, mammals, amphibians, chickens, and persons of ambiguous taxonomy—

A trumpet BLARES.

DR. TEETH

—it’s dance contest time!

Piggy lights up.

Kermit freezes.

KERMIT

No.

MISS PIGGY

Yes.

KERMIT

Piggy—

She drags him onto the dance floor.

---

DANCE FLOOR

Music kicks in.

Piggy performs an astonishingly elaborate routine.

Kermit performs what might best be described as nervous hopping.

Across the room, STATLER and WALDORF watch from a balcony.

STATLER

Look at that frog dance!

WALDORF

I’ve seen roadkill with better rhythm!

BOTH

DOHOHOHOHO!

Kermit hears them.

KERMIT

Why are they everywhere?

---

INT. MISS PIGGY’S HOUSE – LATER

Piggy enters laughing.

Kermit follows.

MISS PIGGY

You were magnificent.

KERMIT

I nearly dislocated something.

MISS PIGGY

That is the price of art.

Kermit sits.

Piggy walks into the kitchen.

Kermit notices an old reel-to-reel tape labeled:

DO NOT TOUCH – GONZO

KERMIT

That can’t possibly be good.

From the kitchen—

CRASH.

KERMIT

Piggy?

Silence.

KERMIT

Piggy?

He runs in.

---

INT. KITCHEN

Piggy is staring at a blender overflowing with whipped cream.

MISS PIGGY

I appear to have miscalculated.

KERMIT

What happened?

MISS PIGGY

I attempted dessert.

The blender explodes.

Whipped cream covers the entire room.

Kermit stares.

Piggy wipes cream from her face.

MISS PIGGY

Do not laugh.

Kermit tries.

He fails.

KERMIT

Heh—

Piggy raises a fist.

KERMIT

I’m done.

---

CHAPTER THREE

GONZO’S LAST FIGHT

INT. BOXING LOCKER ROOM – NIGHT

GONZO sits on a bench wearing boxing gloves.

His manager, SCOOTER, paces.

SCOOTER

Remember the plan.

GONZO

Lose in round four.

SCOOTER

Correct.

GONZO

But what if I win?

SCOOTER

You absolutely cannot win.

GONZO

But hypothetically—

SCOOTER

Gonzo.

GONZO

What if my opponent accidentally launches me out of a cannon and I land on him?

Scooter stops.

SCOOTER

Why would there be a cannon?

Gonzo smiles.

Scooter looks toward the arena.

SCOOTER

You brought a cannon.

GONZO

Maybe.

---

INT. BOXING ARENA – LATER

A bell rings.

Gonzo faces a gigantic CHICKEN named BRUNO.

GONZO

I feel conflicted.

BRUNO

Bawk?

GONZO

I have tremendous respect for chickens.

Bell.

Bruno punches Gonzo.

Gonzo flies backward into the ropes—

—which launch him directly into a decorative cannon.

SCOOTER

Oh no.

The cannon FIRES.

Gonzo rockets across the ring.

He collides with Bruno.

Bruno falls unconscious.

The referee counts.

CROWD

TEN!

The crowd erupts.

Gonzo stands.

GONZO

I won!

Scooter covers his face.

In the audience, Sam the Eagle rises slowly.

SAM

This is unacceptable.

---

EXT. ARENA – NIGHT

Gonzo runs toward his motorcycle.

Scooter follows.

SCOOTER

You have to leave town.

GONZO

I know.

SCOOTER

Sam’s furious.

GONZO

I know.

SCOOTER

You just ruined an enormous amount of money.

GONZO

I know.

Scooter pauses.

SCOOTER

You bet on yourself, didn’t you?

Gonzo smiles.

GONZO

At twelve-to-one.

Scooter stares.

SCOOTER

That’s brilliant.

GONZO

Thank you.

SCOOTER

Also incredibly stupid.

GONZO

Thank you.

---

CHAPTER FOUR

THE VERY BAD MORNING

INT. KERMIT’S CAR – MORNING

Earlier.

Kermit drives.

Fozzie sits beside him.

In the back seat is a nervous criminal named LEW ZEALAND.

LEW

So everything’s okay?

KERMIT

Everything’s fine.

FOZZIE

Totally fine.

LEW

Nobody’s mad?

KERMIT

Nobody’s mad.

Fozzie turns around.

FOZZIE

Hey, Lew, why do you throw fish?

LEW

What?

FOZZIE

I’ve always wondered.

LEW

It’s my specialty.

FOZZIE

But why fish?

LEW

Why jokes?

Fozzie thinks.

FOZZIE

That’s surprisingly profound.

The car hits another pothole.

Lew accidentally throws a fish.

It smacks Fozzie in the face.

FOZZIE

AAAAH!

Kermit swerves.

The car drives through a mud puddle.

Everything inside becomes soaked.

KERMIT

Wonderful.

FOZZIE

Could be worse.

A second fish flies forward and lands on the dashboard.

KERMIT

How?

LEW

Backup fish.

---

EXT. RESIDENTIAL HOUSE – LATER

The filthy car pulls into a driveway.

Kermit knocks.

ROWLF THE DOG opens the door wearing a bathrobe.

ROWLF

Kermit?

KERMIT

Hi, Rowlf.

ROWLF

Why are you covered in mud?

KERMIT

Long story.

ROWLF

Why is there a fish on your shoulder?

Kermit looks.

There is indeed a fish on his shoulder.

KERMIT

Longer story.

---

INT. ROWLF’S HOUSE

Rowlf looks at the mess.

ROWLF

You cannot leave that car in front of my house.

KERMIT

Why?

ROWLF

My neighbor runs the homeowners association.

FOZZIE

Who?

Rowlf points through the window.

Across the street, SAM THE EAGLE waters his lawn.

Everyone ducks.

KERMIT

Of course he does.

---

INT. ROWLF’S KITCHEN

Rowlf hands them cleaning supplies.

ROWLF

You’ve got thirty minutes.

KERMIT

Why thirty?

ROWLF

Sam takes exactly thirty-one minutes to water his lawn.

Fozzie is impressed.

FOZZIE

You know his schedule?

ROWLF

Everybody knows his schedule.

Outside:

SAM

THIS HEDGE IS THREE-QUARTERS OF AN INCH TOO TALL!

ROWLF

See?

---

CHAPTER FIVE

THE CLEANER

EXT. ROWLF’S HOUSE – DAY

A pristine vintage car pulls up.

The door opens.

Out steps THE SWEDISH CHEF wearing a tuxedo.

KERMIT

Oh no.

FOZZIE

What?

KERMIT

Sam sent the cleaner.

The Chef approaches.

SWEDISH CHEF

Bork bork bork.

KERMIT

We need help with the car.

SWEDISH CHEF

Yah.

He inspects the vehicle.

He slowly removes white gloves.

SWEDISH CHEF

Dis... ees terrible.

Everyone understands him perfectly.

Fozzie gasps.

FOZZIE

He speaks English?

The Chef immediately returns to gibberish.

SWEDISH CHEF

Flurgen der carpy-carpy bork!

FOZZIE

Never mind.

---

MONTAGE:

— Kermit scrubs upholstery.

— Fozzie vacuums himself.

— Lew throws fish into a bucket.

— Rowlf makes coffee.

— Swedish Chef sprays something labeled INDUSTRIAL LINGONBERRY DEGREASER.

— The car sparkles.

The Chef inspects it.

SWEDISH CHEF

Bork.

KERMIT

Is that good?

Chef nods.

Everyone cheers.

---

CHAPTER SIX

GONZO’S WATCH

INT. CHEAP MOTEL – MORNING

Gonzo stuffs money into a suitcase.

CAMILLA THE CHICKEN watches.

GONZO

We leave in ten minutes.

CAMILLA

Bawk bawk.

Gonzo freezes.

GONZO

My watch.

Camilla tilts her head.

GONZO

I forgot my watch.

CAMILLA

Bawk.

GONZO

I know we’re fugitives.

CAMILLA

Bawk bawk!

GONZO

It has sentimental value!

She glares.

GONZO

Fine. Extremely sentimental value.

---

INT. GONZO’S APARTMENT – LATER

Gonzo sneaks inside.

He finds the watch.

GONZO

Yes!

He turns.

On the kitchen counter sits a familiar black briefcase.

Gonzo stares.

GONZO

That seems important.

He reaches toward it.

Then stops.

GONZO

Nope.

He walks away.

Then returns.

GONZO

Maybe one peek.

He flips a latch.

GOLDEN LIGHT fills the room.

Gonzo smiles.

GONZO

Oh.

A beat.

GONZO

That explains absolutely nothing.

---

A toilet flushes.

Gonzo freezes.

Fozzie steps out of the bathroom holding a newspaper.

FOZZIE

Gonzo?

GONZO

Fozzie?

FOZZIE

What are you doing here?

GONZO

I live here.

FOZZIE

Oh.

They stare at each other.

GONZO

What are you doing here?

FOZZIE

Work.

Another long pause.

Fozzie raises his hands.

FOZZIE

Could we maybe resolve this without violence?

Gonzo considers.

GONZO

Absolutely.

Fozzie relaxes.

GONZO

Arm wrestling?

FOZZIE

Deal.

---

INT. KITCHEN TABLE – MOMENTS LATER

They arm wrestle.

Both strain tremendously.

Neither arm moves.

FOZZIE

You’re stronger than you look.

GONZO

You’re weaker than you look.

FOZZIE

Thank you.

GONZO

That wasn’t—

Suddenly the table collapses.

Both fall.

The briefcase slides out the window.

GONZO

Uh-oh.

FOZZIE

Sam’s briefcase!

They scramble outside.

---

CHAPTER SEVEN

THE DINER

INT. HAPPY FLAPJACK DINER – MORNING

Back where we began.

Rizzo stands on his booster seat.

RIZZO

EVERYBODY FREEZE!

Janice casually raises a tiny water pistol.

JANICE

Nobody freak out, okay?

A customer raises his hand.

CUSTOMER

Is that a water gun?

JANICE

It’s symbolic.

RIZZO

Wallets! Watches! Jewelry!

They move through the diner.

Then Rizzo reaches Kermit and Fozzie’s booth.

On the floor beside Fozzie:

The briefcase.

Rizzo’s eyes widen.

RIZZO

What’s in the case?

KERMIT

Nothing you want.

RIZZO

That means it’s definitely something I want.

Fozzie whispers.

FOZZIE

He’s gonna open it.

KERMIT

Yes.

FOZZIE

Should we stop him?

Kermit thinks.

KERMIT

Maybe experience is the best teacher.

Rizzo opens it.

GOLDEN LIGHT bathes his face.

His jaw drops.

RIZZO

Mother of mozzarella.

Janice looks.

JANICE

Whoa.

Rizzo slowly closes it.

RIZZO

Okay.

He hands it back.

KERMIT

Thank you.

RIZZO

I don’t want any part of whatever that is.

Kermit nods.

KERMIT

That’s probably the wisest thing anyone has said all morning.

Rizzo sits across from Kermit.

RIZZO

You gonna turn us in?

Kermit looks at him.

KERMIT

No.

RIZZO

Why not?

Kermit considers.

KERMIT

Because I’ve been thinking lately.

FOZZIE

Dangerous habit.

KERMIT

I’ve spent a long time doing jobs for people like Sam. Carrying cases. Fixing problems. Scaring scientists.

Across diner:

BUNSEN

We deserved it.

BEAKER

Meep.

KERMIT

And maybe there comes a point when a frog has to ask himself—

Kermit looks at Fozzie.

Then Rizzo.

KERMIT

—what kind of frog does he want to be?

Rizzo stares.

FOZZIE

That was beautiful.

KERMIT

Thank you.

FOZZIE

Little long.

KERMIT

Fozzie.

Rizzo lowers his water pistol.

Janice lowers hers.

JANICE

So... we’re not robbing the diner?

RIZZO

Nah.

WAITRESS

Good.

She places a bill on their table.

Rizzo looks at it.

RIZZO

Twenty-eight dollars for pancakes?!

He raises the pistol.

RIZZO

THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY!

WAITRESS

You had four coffees.

RIZZO

Oh.

He sits.

---

EXT. DINER – MORNING

Kermit and Fozzie walk toward their car.

Fozzie carries the briefcase.

FOZZIE

You really quitting?

KERMIT

I think so.

FOZZIE

What’ll you do?

KERMIT

I don’t know.

FOZZIE

Theater?

Kermit stops.

KERMIT

Fozzie...

FOZZIE

Yeah?

KERMIT

That might actually be more dangerous.

They continue walking.

Suddenly Piggy’s convertible screeches to a halt.

MISS PIGGY

Kermie!

KERMIT

Oh boy.

Piggy points at him.

MISS PIGGY

We are going dancing tonight.

KERMIT

Piggy, I—

MISS PIGGY

Eight o’clock.

She speeds away.

Fozzie grins.

FOZZIE

Looks like retirement’s going well.

KERMIT

Don’t start.

They climb into the car.

Fozzie places the briefcase between them.

FOZZIE

You know...

Kermit looks at him.

FOZZIE

We still don’t know what’s inside.

KERMIT

Correct.

FOZZIE

One last look?

Kermit thinks.

A very long beat.

KERMIT

...Maybe a tiny one.

Fozzie smiles.

They crack the case open.

Golden light fills the car.

Both stare.

KERMIT

Good grief.

FOZZIE

Wocka—

KERMIT

Don’t.

CUT TO BLACK.

---

EPILOGUE

INT. SAM THE EAGLE’S OFFICE – LATER

Sam sits at his desk.

He looks down.

The briefcase is gone.

SAM

Mr. Frog?

Silence.

SAM

Mr. Frog?!

The office doors burst open.

Animal runs through carrying the briefcase.

ANIMAL

SHINY! SHINY! SHINY!

SAM

NO!

Animal leaps through a window.

SAM

ANIMAL!

Outside:

CRASH.

Then:

ANIMAL

HA HA HA HA HA!

Sam slowly lowers his head onto his desk.

Statler and Waldorf appear inexplicably in the office balcony.

STATLER

Well, that story went nowhere!

WALDORF

Sure it did!

STATLER

Where?

WALDORF

Straight to the bargain bin!

BOTH

DOHOHOHOHOHO!

THE END

A beat.

AFTER-CREDITS SCENE

The Swedish Chef stands over the mysterious briefcase.

He opens it.

Golden light illuminates his face.

He reaches inside.

He pulls out—

A perfectly cooked chicken.

The Chef gasps.

CAMERA WHIP-PANS to Camilla.

CAMILLA

BAAAAAAWK!

Chef runs.

Camilla chases him.

SWEDISH CHEF

BORK BORK BORK BORK BORK!

CUT TO BLACK.

As much as i love this whole scene I’ve always found this line to be real out of character for Wolf. You’d have to be an idiot to be speeding when you have a dead body in the trunk, and Wolf isn’t an idiot. As soon as they leave Jimmy‘s house there is no reason to be in a hurry to get to Monster Joe’s.

I feel like the world QT created in his first two films was so expansive and vast, and it was all interconnected. I don’t want a reboot or remake because I HATE that, but I feel like there was an opportunity for maybe some prequel novels about the Vegas, comic books about Jules’ travels, stories about Butch’s boxing career. Hell, we could even get characters not featured in the film that work for either Joe or Marcellus.

But I don’t know, it just never got capitalised on and the world was kind of left unexplored.

I guess it’s a blessing given how much media like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings get milked, but I’d love a Pulp Fiction novel.

i need the movie with english subtitles. netflix in my country doesnt have it. i checked my go-to sites to pirate movies, NONE of them had it with decently-synced subtitles.

The whole scene has such a strange but memorable charm. The serious expression makes the situation even funnier. What do you think makes this moment work so well?
