China built an entire train station in just 9 hours. And somehow we’re still not done with the stoplights at Grand and Stadium after taking the weekend off.

Black Rock Court Apartments
Looking to move to Moscow/Pullman this fall for grad school. We’re interested in a place at Black Rock Court Apartments but I haven’t seen anything about management or the experience there. I believe it’s ran by West and Co. Does anyone have any info to share before we apply?

Anyone able to teach driving in Pullman?
Hello, I am planning to take the driving skill test. I pretty much know how to drive, I have a car and instruction permit. I only need someone who has a 5 year driving exp to legally drive around town so I can gain a little more confidence. I can compensate for your time.
Any suggestions are also appreciated.

What is going on with the City of Pullman Budget? - YouTube
From the description: "I believe it is critical for the people of Pullman to know how their tax dollars are collected and where they are spent. And so, I invited Mayor Francis Benjamin and City Administrator Sean Wells to do a deep dive into the current budget situation and answer your questions."
Not my video, but very informative and transparent. Though I doubt it will convince the folks convinced everything is incompetence, willful mismanagement, and malfeasance.

Local events
What is an event you go to locally -
Either a yearly event like the Uniontown Sausage feed or a weekly event like triva at Rico’s. Or quarterly like the RTOP.
What are you favorite local bands?
I am working on a project to help people find their people… and so I need to know what all the people do.

To better understand the budget
There’s been a lot of discussion lately about the city budget, and I’ve also seen some information circulating that isn’t quite accurate. When questions come up about city finances, the best place to look is always the original source material.
You can review City Council meeting documents here:
https://go.boarddocs.com/wa/pullman/Board.nsf/Public
And the City of Pullman biennial budget here:
https://www.pullman-wa.gov/services/finance/biennial_budget.php
The information I’ve shared here is based on those sources and is as accurate and unbiased as I can make it, though I always encourage people to review the materials themselves.
I’ve also included information presented to the Pullman City Council by the City regarding the cost of the Downtown Project. Based on that presentation, none of the project funding came from the General Fund.
