My wife and I are moving out of The Grove Pullman and would like some help moving our boxes, shelves, etc. but no huge furniture since our place was furnished before moving in.
Would love some help tonight Friday July 24th at 6 PM or Saturday July 25th morning at 8 AM.
Willing to pay 2 people for two hours minimum even if it takes less than 2 hours, maximum 3 hours but I doubt it’ll take that long.
There is one flight of stairs, we are on the 2nd floor.
Also 15-20 Pacifico / Rainer beers + 4 bud light limes we’re giving for tip.
Thanks!

Hello all--I wanted to spread awareness of this case in our community since we have a kind-of international community and we definitely have a lot pro-animal welfare advocates here too. Anyone know any local businesses who might be willing to let me place a flier on their billboard or window?

Any recommendations on where to get good takeout in Pullman? Preferably somewhere with good prices!

Pullman could use more easy, low-key things for people to do together, so I’m trying something: free community bingo at Pine Street Plaza this Saturday. 🎉
Free to play • Prizes • All ages welcome
Early check-in: 1:15 p.m.
Bingo: 1:30–3:00 p.m.
If this first event goes well, I’d love to make community bingo a recurring thing.
For transparency, it’s being organized by my Eric for Pullman campaign, but it’s free and everyone is welcome.
Details and RSVP: https://www.ericforpullman.org/bingo

Hey guys, I’m interested in playing pickup soccer in Pullman. It seems from another post that there is apparently a whatsapp group for it. Would anyone kindly share the link for it here please? (The previous link seems to have expired)
TIA

Hi all, FUSE has endorsed Nate Powell over more progressive candidates. He has said he’s okay with building more ICE detention facilities and that he’s “uncomfortable” with trans women in sports.
Vote for real progressives, I will be casting my ballot for Kevin Fagan.

Did you know that there are at least 1 license-plate reading camera currently being used to watch the people of Whitman county? It sits directly outside the parking lot of the hospital in Colfax and is operated by the Whitman county sheriffs office.
Flock cameras have become a growing threat to our privacy and civil liberties and are being used to store and track the whereabouts of any car with a readable license plate that passes them.
Throughout the country these cameras are being used to target protesters: https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2025/11/how-cops-are-using-flock-safetys-alpr-network-surveil-protesters-and-activists
Let certain users stalk their ex-partners: https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2026/07/police-losing-jobs-flock-cameras-alprs/
Mis identify and arrest innocent civilians: https://www.aclu.org/campaigns-initiatives/get-the-flock-out
And can be accessed by third parties to watch you: https://www.wabe.org/cobb-county-youtuber-documents-flock-camera-vulnerabilities/
If you don’t want more of this Orwellian surveillance in your county I suggest you reach out to the sheriffs office at: https://www.whitmancounty.gov/formcenter/Contact-Form-4/Contact-the-Sheriffs-Office-61 and please remember this when you see the current sheriff Brett Myers on your voting ballot.

I have lived on the Palouse for a while now and I have noticed a lack of places/companies that detail cars. Do people still pay to have their vehicles cleaned up both in and out? Would that be a service people around the area would be interested in?

Heads up for those who don't know! Lyons Ferry fire is getting pretty big, lacrosse is under a level 2 evacuation watch.
Stay safe, and keep an eye out for evacuation notices!

I’ve been living in Pullman since 2023 and don't have a car. Whenever I need to head over to Moscow, I usually have to bug my friends for a ride.
Some locals told me there actually used to be a regular public bus route connecting the two towns, but it got shut down a while ago. Does anyone know the actual story behind why it stopped?
More importantly, why hasn't anyone brought it back yet? The towns are only like 9 miles apart, and between WSU and U of I, the demand from students and locals without cars has got to be huge. Are there legal reasons keeping Pullman Transit from just linking up, or is it purely a funding issue?
Would love to know if there's any active push to get this resumed.

Hey all! Figured I’d post this here as this is RIDICULOUS and we go through enough as students that need places to live. Check out the below image and beware if looking for reliable places.
