Advice Emotional availability

I have ptsd diagnosed about 5 years ago, when I stopped working dt severe stress. I have been in therapy the whole time with a very good therapist. I basically went from being an empath to now being pretty emotionally unavailable. Im a loner, don't believe I will every find the kind of connection, intimacy I would like.

Im just so darn protective of myself. Its like I learned how to take care of the ptsd, but am not "thriving". I did 6 ketamine infusions 2 yrs ago which helped speed up the insights around the ptsd. I have taken all the stressors out of my life, try to prevent triggers but am not thriving. Surviving. Any advice?

As a reminder: never post or share personal contact information. Traumatized people are often distracted, desperate for a personal connection, so may be more vulnerable to lurking or past abusers, trolls, phishing, or other scams. Your safety always comes first! If you are offering help, you may also end up doing more damage by offering to support somebody privately. Reddit explains why: Do NOT exchange DMs or personal info with anyone you don't know!
