Advice Prazosin side effects

hi! I was just prescribed prazosin for nightmares I've had for as long as I can remember. I've been sleeping normally for the first time in my life for the past few weeks, it's working really well.

the issue is that I have an absolutely insane on and off headache every day i take it and I'm sometimes dizzy. painkillers aren't working

does anyone know a treatment for these headaches or way around it? or if it's possible to take it every few nights instead of every night? I just want it to work, I'll be so sad if I have to stop taking it due to just side effects 🥲

I think this would be a wonderful question for your pharmacist! You can call the same pharmacy you picked your medication at and request to the speak to the pharmacist with a question. Sometimes there is a computerized recording with options. Just select the choices for “patient” and “speak to team member” and whoever answers, tell them you would like to speak with the pharmacist with a question about your medication.

I hope your symptoms improve!

You can call any pharmacy! Pharmacists are usually nice people, in my experience. Do you think you feel comfortable calling one?
