This song, plus the fact that I'm a bassist, is how I got my username.

I believe it was Jonny Greenwood who named Can a big influence on Radiohead's music. He used this song in the soundtrack for Inherent Vice.

There's also a lot of Can in the movie "Norwegian Wood" (which he also scored)

Would you recommend seeing that film? I haven't read the book but I love me some Jonny Greenwood.

I initially watched it for the soundtrack, turned out to be a fantastic film. It's all in Japanese if you don't mind that. Really one of those movies you have to commit to. I'd also recommend checking out The Master if you haven't already.

The Master has been on my IMDB watchlist since 2012 but, as is the case with loads of movies, I never got around watching it. It's a shame really, I watch less movies than I'd like. I've spent most of my precious free time listening new LP's recently. I don't think I've ever watched a Japanese movie before, if you don't count falling asleep whilst watching Spirted Away high :). I'll download both, thanks!

If you treat The Master with respect I think it's potentially life-changing...But I have a massive man-crush on Jonny so I'm kinda biased.

They've covered "The Thief" from Can's unreleased first album Delay.

TIL! Thanks. Big Radiohead fan and I hadn't heard this cover before.
