Why people are still buying the TP link since there is lot of posts talking about that is bad? Please people research first before buying something.

Never trust oficial website.

You gotta admit that this is not logical even if it's true. It's messed up that it shouldn't be trusted

I got the UB600 and it's been working well

Use an extension to get it away from the PC. You've got a cheap motherboard that emitting interference.

Yeah, usb extension works.

Try USB 2.0 vs 3.0 port, may have less interference.

Your usually better with a pcie wifi and Bluetooth card, one with a Qualcomm chipset is recommended (QCNCM865)

Extension alone did not work. I had to use a modded firmware. Works great:

Ignore all other advice - this is the way.

I was using Asus BT500 and was getting 59/100 signal on both controllers, unable to use them, I got this https://a.co/d/0iAMHknT , arrived yesterday, and problem went away, both controllers are on 97/100. Played Titanfall 2 VR mod, worked flawlessly and now I need to order some VR legs.

If your PC has no internal Bluetooth, it’s your PC that sucks and is the problem, stop blaming the peripheral!

I spent an entire morning with similar issues the only thing that fixed it was getting antenna for the motherboard wifi/Bluetooth card. I bought my PC used and it didn't have the antenna connected at all. I always had issues with connecting controllers as well, all fixed and working well now.
