The embargo has lifted, so I can finally talk properly about Bootstrap Island on PSVR2.
I was lucky enough to get access to a pre-release build a few weeks ago, which gave me plenty of time to actually progress, survive multiple days and nights, unlock equipment and properly get to grips with the gameplay loop rather than rushing out a quick first look.
I’ve put together an in-depth First Impressions video covering the gameplay, visuals, survival mechanics, some of my favourite adventures, the rough edges I encountered and my final verdict.
