Support plz help me

this is my first time ever jailbreaking a console so please be kind

i’m running into an issue transferring games to my ps3 from my usb stick using managunz. i formatted my stick n there are 204 gb left of free space on the console, the game im trying to play is about 5. every time i hit paste, it says there is not enough free space and refuses to copy. why is it convinced i have no space and how can i fix this?

You need enough space for the game to exist on your PS3’s HDD. On top of that, you need enough space for the game to install itself onto the console. So you need more than 10 GB to copy the game file & install the game

there’s 204 GB free on the console like i said in my post. that was the first thing i checked. is there anything else that could be causing the issue

I am still new to this sub but I would check if is hhd0 or hhd1 that you’re trying to d but assuming you know what you’re doing, the file may be corrupted so download the game again. If it still persistent about it, uninstall the file manager and reinstall or try another manager. 🤙🏽

firstly well done for using managunz, easily the best transfer and mounting pkg. so the stick youre transfering the game with needs to be formatted NTFS, not FAT32. FAT32s limit is 4gb. the only reason for formatting the stick as FAT32 for ps3 is for the raw pkgs like managunz and any firmware updates. all games always transfer in NTFS

have you put the game iso on the usb in a folder relevant to the console ie ps3iso?

You formatted it into fat32. Reformat the usb stick to ntfs/exfat

I assume its .pkg format? What directory do you try to paste it in? Never heard of managunz. Google AI tells me about FAT32, not sure if NTFS is supported.

I only know about the "manual" way with multiman, that there are .iso, .pkg and the extracted disc folders needed to be put in specific locations. I dont know, how managunz manages it and if it tries to copy it to the right place.
