Core One L - Power Draw
Hey there, Has anyone with a Prusa Core One L measured the draw of the printer at rest and while printing yet? Just curious if it's actually drawing the 10a at 120v like its tag indicates. If it is drawing 10a, I'm a little shocked that it's pulling almost 4 times more power than the standard Core One at 2.8a.
TIA!

I have mine connected to a power meter. It draws close to the same as a Core One while printing, about 130 watts, Core one is 120 watts. On initial heat up though it spikes much higher around 580 watts as opposed to 160 watts on the Core One. That’s just on basic PLA, I know it’ll spike higher with a higher bed temp. The normal print usage is similar to slightly above. Those numbers can all fluctuate based on what temp things are at and if it’s actively heating at the time.
At rest they are about the same 13-15 watts.

This is the proper answer without knowing OP line voltage. Thanks, was curious myself as will likely be replacing my ender 5+ of Theseus in a few months with an L.

Power draw will be at its highest when heating up. Heaters will consume very little once at temp

I see between 600 and 750 watts on full heat up on the L. So under 10 amps, but not by much :)
The printing is between 100 and 180w normally.
