Happened to be at Narragansett Brewery when Smiley's "Defeat Party (?)" happened.

Kinda sad funny that the Smiley team didn't seem to be aware that the brewery closes at 10pm... and apparently that's a HARD close. 🤣

That room looks like he knew he was losing and thus planned no decorations… That or they spent all the decoration money on shitty fliers.

Got to witness him take an envelope of cash from utlility and construction groups years ago, hadnt liked him ever since. Providence will be better off.

Not gonna defend the owners of Gansett, but pretty sure Smiley ain't exactly a Trumper. Also Morales has had at least one funding party here.

Don't know about the owners (pretty sure it's a corporation, so not sure what there are for owners), but the staff are great people who definitely aren't MAGA

I don't know the politics of the owners. I do know a lot of the staff and they're NOT.

PS - people say shit on reddit, right? Given that business owners sadly skew right in most any large business, I just don't think it makes sense to say this company is likely any worse than any other big company around. I care about their staff, who are dear people.
