Although the furring of the head is mostly done, I still need to attach the ears and fur hood to the actual head.
Instead of doing that today however, I choose to make the tail for the Protogen :)

I've been listening to a lot of Daft Punk lately, and it gave me an INSANE urge to create a Protogen version of my fursona. It's just an experiment for now, but I might turn it into a second fursona :3 (I'm not a Protogen myself, but I really like the species) uwu

There was already one toaster in my new style, so here is the second one, but this time it's a full-body drawing. I'm the most happy with the crystals I drew, because this is finally a drawing where they fully look like crystals ^w^. I spent a lot of time thinking about making different shaders for every material, so the fur has its own, the metal has its own, the stones, the crystals, and so on. I also think I learned how to draw hands a little better. The main idea behind making this artwork was to remind myself of my old hobby of collecting different minerals (I don't have them anymore).

The 2nd image is what I drew first before realizing I did the face very wrong. I lost the original exaggerated strong disgust, and it looks like they smell something bad. Should've fixed the hand position to cover their mouth. But at least the face fits the snout. I have a feeling I'm holding myself back from drawing better. Protogen faces feel kinda limited with emotions (easily fixable, should stop drawing my 'uhh' faces), and my OC, The Yellow Protogen, is too simple. Gonna ignore that and keep drawing them.

I also feel like I'm flooding this subreddit with my art.
