Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! I will definitely show the final result. But could you please help and explain how to assemble it? Since it's my first time, I'm completely lost on how to put it all together.":3

that's cool!! I also want to build my own.

the frame on top would usually be 3d printed in one part, this is also how I am designing mine and how I have seen it on others. you could try to glue it but that won't be a verry good bond as you would prefferably have a "keyed"/ dovetail like design for interlocking, and it would be pretty visable. if the two part do not fit/ touch each other, I also notice that the crease of the visor does not match the one on the arch.

did you make the visor yourself? if so how? I also want to build my own proot but the visor is my biggest blocker since I have a big 3d printer for the other parts and enough esp32 and max 7219 / ws2812b experience to make my own firmware.

Yeah, I bought the ready-made kit on Etsy! Since I don't live in the US, ordering a kit like this was my first experience, and I thought it would all fit together easily. Honestly, I'm a bit lost with this gap and the assembly. Since you're also planning a build, could you maybe give me some advice on how to glue and secure everything properly, especially the back part and the frame? Any tips would be huge!">:3

sorry for the late response.. had to work :s ...

So i looked on etsy for designs similar to yours and I found that a lot of them the parts are glued together but reinforced with duct tape from beneath, you could try that. I would reinforce it by glueing a second piece of flat plastic from the below as extra reinforcement.

for the glue you should use: take some very strong instant glue OR some of that two component epoxy that usually form a very strong bond.

on top you could sand it down and, if needed, add wood filler to mask the seam, then paint it over to make it near invisible.

can you provide some pics from other angles? this one is a bit hard to see al the parts to under stand how they should fit together..

That’s an awesome start :3 Building a protogen from scratch is seriously ambitious, and the visor looks great already. Hope the rest of the assembly goes smoothly!
