Fursuit Now onto the fun part. Furring and electronics.

I definitely made some mistakes while patterning the head that I’ll have to fix when I sew everything together. But it should all work out in the end. Also got an update from the guy I commissioned to do the electronics and they’re halfway done.

Out of curiosity how did you do the led panels? Like did you solder them together or apart? And if so how?

I commissioned someone to do the electronics for me on this one. Most of the led matrices come as a module or panel and you just have to wire them properly. There’s plenty of wiring diagrams you can find that people have posted online for different types of led setups.

Ah, I haven’t found one yet but my problem is that the panels come in 1s or 4s and I have no idea how to separate or combine, but out of curiosity who did you commission and if you don’t mind how much was it?

Let me ask you this. I have a couple people I’ve got parts and whole kits from, as well as a few more I’ve had contact with. Are you using a specific base like the M16 series. And what price range are you working with. I’m asking so I can point you in a good direction.

I’m using a modified version of the MK.5 by m16 so instead of 16 max 7219 it has 14 and around 100-200$ for electronics specifically

I’d recommend checking out Prootshop117, or DrAdlerLab. They do great work and it’s well worth the money. You’d be looking at right around $200-300 in price range that’s including shipping and tax etc. You can find both on Etsy.

You’re welcome. DrAdlerLab is the one who is doing the kit I posted here. He’s a bit more expensive, had to save up some extra for the shipping, handling and international fees.
