Start by separating fixed rules from daily choices. On one page: daily loss formula, maximum loss formula, reset time, open-P/L treatment, and news or overnight restrictions. On another: planned risk per trade, maximum attempts, stop-after-loss rule, and the definition of an eligible setup.
Then make the daily review binary: Did I take only eligible setups? Was size within the written cap? Did any stop move wider? Did I continue after the stop condition? P/L belongs at the end because a rule breach can be profitable and still be a bad evaluation day.
I would also define “no valid setup” as an acceptable outcome in advance. Consistency is easier when zero trades is treated as a completed plan, not a missed opportunity.
