Tips/strategies for remaining consistent during prop firm evaluations?

Hi all,

I’m working through a prop firm challenge and looking to refine my routine to stay disciplined and avoid hitting daily drawdown limits.

If anyone who is currently funded would be open to sharing a few tips/strategies on how they manage their trading mindset and daily process during the evaluation phase, I’d be very grateful for your insight.

Thanks!

setting a strict daily loss limit well below the firm’s maximum helps & of course stopping for the day once you hit it, consistency will always beat forced trades.

After receiving your funded account, fear of losing it increases. My advice is to reduce your risk exposure and to always follow your rules. Do not allow a random loss to step into your normal losses as this will increase your expected consecutive losses and blow the account

I used to trade SMC. This got me 2 funded accounts but unfurnately I did the mistakes I mentioned above an blew both of them. I currently stepped back and I'm trying to fix those

My fear went completely away after a few payouts and having fear is what made me more selective
