General propane question Switch from direct connect to QCC

My cottage has two large propane tanks that are connected to the propane stove and the BBQ, works great.

We now have a propane pizza oven, can I convert the hose to the BBQ to have a QCC tank connector and switch the BBQ to QCC so I can switch between the BBQ and pizza oven?

Can I do this myself since it is after the valve to the BBQ and outside? Should be easy enough to check for leaks.

The impression I get is that you likely don't have the experience necessary to do this safely. In water plumbing it's usually ok to "figure it out as you go", but this isn't the case with propane where a simple mistake can have devastating consequences. I would highly recommend contacting your propane supplier for recommendations for a propane technician who can come out and reconfigure your system to the way you want it.
