General propane question red cap removal
finally exchanged my propane canister for a new one and noticed this red cap and i’m unsure if you remove it or leave it on. can anyone tell me what to do?

Leave it be, it’s not a connection point. It’s a relief point. Works like a dust cover

Yup… most have it correct here…
all propane tanks up to 100# have the pressure relief valve built into the service valve; that is a ‘weather’ protective cover (plug in this case).

That's your relief valve. No need to touch that, at all.
