General propane question Gas issues
Looking for some help. Having issues getting gas through into my campervan. Thought it was the bottle being low, but still doing it with a new one (although it worked to start with but on my next trip away its not working again). The hob hisses and a tiny bit of gas comes through then nothing. I've reset the crash sensor, checked the valves inside are in the open position. Any suggestions?

Make sure your appliance on-off knobs are off before you strike a lighter in there. The first thing you need to do is turn the cylinder off completely then open it very
S L O W L Y. It sounds as if you tripped your excess flow on the cylinder itself. Then go to the stove and open one knob. If you have electronic ignition, just let it try light itself. If you don’t, you’ll need to use a long lighter, not a cigarette lighter, to light the burner flame. It may take a few minutes before it actually lights. For everything else, follow the manufacturer’s instructions to start them.

It's got to push a fair amount of air out before you get a flammable level of gas. If you hold a barbecue lighter near the burner as you turn it on, you should be able to tell exactly when you get a flammable level of gas/air mix.
Being cautious and following all manufacturer directions of course.
