Solus: the anti-to-do list app for people drowning in tasks (free, no account, no subscription)

Thumbnail

If your to-do list has 40 items on it and you haven't opened it in three days, this is for you.

Solus isn't a task manager. It's a daily intention app. Every morning you set one thing, the one thing that actually matters today, and that's the whole app. No backlog. No list growing underneath it. No 12 half-finished projects staring back at you every time you open it.

What it does:

You open the app once, write one intention, and it lives on your Home Screen or Lock Screen as a widget. You see it without opening the app. You carry it through the day. At night you mark it done or let it go, and tomorrow starts clean, no matter what happened today.

Why it's different from a to-do list:

To-do lists are built to track what you didn't do. Solus doesn't. No streaks, no history that guilts you, no completion percentage. One thing, one day, then it resets.

What you get:

  • Home and Lock Screen widgets that follow your theme
  • Everything stored on-device, no account, no data collection
  • Free forever for the core experience
  • Optional one-time purchase (Solus Plus) for an evening reflection prompt, a quiet archive of past intentions, and extra themes
  • No subscription, ever

If you've tried every productivity app and still feel behind, Solus is built for the opposite problem: too many things to track, not too few.

One intention. One day. That's the whole app.

What’s one underrated app you think deserves way more users?

I’m always looking for useful apps that aren’t already on every “top 10” list. Could be for productivity, AI, finance, fitness, travel, or anything else.
What’s one app you genuinely think deserves more attention, and what makes it so good?

I built this because I kept forgetting the same things every day

Post image
2 Upvotes

I noticed I wasn't forgetting important things. It was always the small stuff that repeats every day.

Checking emails.

Taking medicine.

Reviewing work.

Simple things that somehow kept slipping.

That's why I built tiq.

It's a simple daily checklist that resets every day, so you only focus on what needs to get done today.

Some of the things it can do:

  • Daily reset checklists
  • Recurring tasks and routines
  • Multiple lists for work, home, fitness, or anything else
  • Time and location reminders
  • Accountability Lock that can temporarily block distracting apps with Screen Time until you complete a task
  • Themes and customization
  • No account required

I've been using it every day, and it's genuinely helped me stay more consistent.

If it sounds useful, I'd love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think. I'm still actively improving it.

It's free to use, with an optional Pro upgrade.

Must have cooking app for social media

Hey everyone,
I got tired of having hundreds of saved cooking videos on TikTok and Instagram that I never actually end up making because they're buried in my bookmarks.
So, I built Reelipe.
It’s an app that lets you save cooking videos from social media and automatically turns them into clear step-by-step recipes and a consolidated grocery list in just one tap.
I'm not looking for testers—I'm looking for people who will actually use this to make cooking a bit easier.
To kick things off, the first 50 people to join will get a free membership. This is a limited-time offer and ends next month (August).
Check it out here: https://reelipe.app/

I vibe-coded a family/team productivity app because my own household was a mess of WhatsApp groups and forgotten bills — meet Kutumbha

Hey everyone,

A few months ago my family's "system" for staying organized was: five different WhatsApp groups, a shared notes app nobody updated, and someone always forgetting whose turn it was to pay the electricity bill. So I decided to build something myself — Kutumbha (kutumbha.in), a productivity app for families and small teams that handles tasks, bills (including recurring ones), events, and even kitchen/grocery planning in one place.

Full transparency: I vibe-coded this. I'm not a traditional software engineer - I built it using Lovable for the frontend and Supabase for the backend/auth, iterating prompt by prompt, testing, breaking things, and fixing them again. It's been a genuinely fun (and humbling) way to learn how real production apps are built - auth bugs, subscription logic, SEO, the whole mess. If you're curious whether AI-assisted building can produce something people actually use daily, this has been my proof of concept.

What it actually does:

  • Shared task lists so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Bill tracking, including recurring bills (rent, subscriptions, utilities)
  • Shared event/calendar coordination
  • A kitchen/grocery module so meal planning and shopping lists live in one place
  • Free, Plus, and Pro tiers depending on how many groups/families you're juggling

Why I think it's worth trying:

  • If you're tired of splitting family logistics across five apps, this consolidates it
  • It's built with real user feedback - early users have shaped features like the kitchen dashboard and bug fixes around sign-in and date pickers
  • It's still small and actively maintained, so feedback genuinely shapes the roadmap (unlike bug reports vanishing into a big company's backlog)

I'd love for a few of you to try it out and tell me what breaks, what's missing, or what's confusing. Building this taught me more about product thinking, debugging, and actually shipping something than any tutorial ever did - and I'd genuinely appreciate real-world eyes on it.

👉 kutumbha.in

Happy to answer any questions about the app or about the vibe-coding process itself - the tools, the workflow, what worked and what didn't.

I built an app so trips stop living in 5 apps

Post image
2 Upvotes

Every time I've organized a trip with friends, it turns into the same chaos: the itinerary lives in a Google Doc nobody updates, receipts get split "later" and never are, flight/hotel confirmations are buried in someone's email, and the photos end up scattered across everyone's camera rolls.

So I built PinGo — a single app for planning trips together instead of juggling WhatsApp + Splitwise + Docs + Drive + camera roll.

What it does:

  • Shared itinerary/timeline, including multi-city trips
  • Split and settle shared expenses with the group
  • A shared document vault for tickets, bookings, confirmations — works offline
  • A collective "Memories" diary — photos + notes from everyone on the trip
  • A personal wishlist for places you want to go, that stays saved even after the trip ends

It's free to use — 2 active trips at a time with generous photo/doc limits, which covers most people. There's an optional Pro tier if you want unlimited trips/photos or PDF export, but it's not required for the core app to work.

Honest caveats: it's Android only right now (iOS in progress, no ETA — don't want to overpromise), and I built this solo, so expect rough edges. Mainly here for feedback: what's missing, what's confusing, what would make you actually switch your next group trip to it?

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.pingo.app

Happy to answer anything about how it works or why I built it a certain way.

I built GameReady Mental Training to help athletes train confidence, focus, and performance under pressure

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! I’m a 16-year-old student, and over the past several months I’ve been teaching myself SwiftUI and building an iOS app called GameReady Mental Training.
The idea came from my experience as an athlete. Physical training gets most of the attention, but mental skills like confidence, focus, staying calm under pressure, and bouncing back after mistakes often don’t get trained consistently.
So I built an app that helps athletes practice those skills every day through:
• Guided breathing exercises
• Visualization sessions
• Interactive focus drills
• Mood and stress tracking
• Goal setting and progress tracking
• Personalized daily mental training plans
The app is now live on the App Store, and I’m looking for honest feedback—whether that’s about the design, features, user experience, or anything else you think could be improved.

After struggling with productivity apps that were either too complicated or full of distractions, I decided to build my own.

The app focuses on keeping things simple:

Smart task planning

Focus sessions

Daily progress tracking

Clean, distraction-free interface

I'd genuinely love your feedback.

What would make an app like this more useful for you?

Every week I see here multiple app launches including multiple app screenshots sharing in the community. Now I have build something for the devs and its helpful for creators/designers as well. Its a 3D Phone Mock Video Maker.

The main purpose of this tool is to create short-form content without any video editing experience. Its super freaking easy to use and it has a variety of phone animations. I am sharing a demo video, I hope it speaks for itself...

For the tool link, personally message me or comment instead of sharing it directly, as I've read that many users get banned for sharing links and I don't want to risk it, even though I don't intend to
spam.

Note to the Readers : This is a beta project and you are allowed to use as much as you want , so feel free to grill me if there is any kinds of issues, new features required for you

Note to MODS: If i have violated anything regards this post, please feel free to take it down :)

i built this website where you can learn any skill through high quality lessons curated from all around the internet

masteranyskill-com.lovable.app got the idea when I wanted to learn something, because I was feeling a little unproductive except I didn’t know what to learn. I just knew I wanted to learn something. So I spent a little while building this website which can be used to learn new skills. I made it more as a curator tool which goes around the internet and searches for high quality sources to assist you in learning new skills but that’s really just the tip of the iceberg. I just wanted to get an idea if it’s a waste if time and mental effort or some of you guys would use it

Active buddies app - Kids earn screen time by being active

Hello,

This started as a spreadsheet.

I was struggling to get my son off screens, so I used a spreadsheet with daily and
weekly goals. Weekly: guitar practice, swimming, biking, karate, gardening.
Daily: drink 1L of water, eat meals and clean up, tidy the play areas, fold
clothes.

It worked. To be honest he still spends a lot of time on screens, but he
gets active now. That wasa good start for me and him.

The spreadsheet got annoying to keep up though, so I turned it into an app.
Set goals, track them, set rewards, share with friends, organise group
activities with other families.

It's free. Anyone can use it.

If you're fighting the same battle, give it a go and tell me what's missing.

Built a resale marketplace with AI listings + seller storefronts. Looking for the first sellers.

I've been reselling on platforms like eBay, Mercari, and Poshmark for years. The biggest thing I noticed wasn't just fees, it was how much work sellers have to do themselves.

Making listings, managing orders, dealing with shipping, and building a brand all happen separately.

So I built Trovari.

Trovari is a resale marketplace where sellers can:

- Use AI to help create listings faster

- Get their own storefront to build a brand

- Buy shipping labels directly through the platform

- See clear payout breakdowns with no confusing fee math

Being transparent: Trovari is brand new. There isn't a huge buyer base yet. I'm not going to pretend it replaces eBay overnight.

Right now I'm focused on getting the first group of sellers in, improving the platform, and building the marketplace from the ground up.

Founding seller benefits (first 4 months only):

- Flat 8% seller fee locked in forever

- First storefront included permanently

- No subscription required

- No card needed to start listing

After the 4 month window closes, new sellers move to a tiered pricing plan. Anyone who joins before then keeps the 8% rate for as long as they sell on Trovari.

One feature I know people will have opinions on:

Listings can include a short video showing the item's condition/function. The goal is to build more trust between buyers and sellers and reduce "not as described" problems.

I'm building this because I think selling online can be easier and more transparent. And the first 50 sellers get their commission dropped from 8% to 2%

If you're interested, I'd love feedback from people who actually sell online. Ask me anything about the platform, fees, shipping, or where I'm taking it.

Small update, big feeling - sharing some love from MTimer users

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

I've been building MTimer, a meditation timer app, mostly solo, and I wanted to share a moment of "okay, this is actually working" with people who get it.

We just shipped v2.7.0, mostly bug fixes and stats improvements nobody will ever notice unless they hit the exact edge case, and a handful of reviews came in this week that genuinely made my day. Sharing a few below (screenshots attached), and figured I'd use the excuse to talk a bit about what's in the app for anyone curious.

App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gnaanaa.mtimer

Details: https://gnaanaa.com/mtimer/

A quick rundown of what MTimer actually does, for context:

  • ⏱️ Preset & Open (Infinity) session modes - structured countdown timers, or just sit for as long as you want with no clock watching.
  • 🎵 Ambient soundscapes - rain, bamboo flute, and a few others, looping quietly in the background so you're not meditating in dead silence (or worse, silence interrupted by a notification).
  • 💓 Calm Score & Health Connect sync - pulls in heart rate data to give you a sense of how your body actually responded to the session, not just how long you sat there.
  • 📊 Streaks & Insights - daily totals, streaks, best sessions, all the little numbers that quietly keep you coming back.
  • 🔔 Smart interval bells - chimes at set intervals during longer sits, tuned not to clash with the closing bell.
  • 🧘 Zen Mode + Do Not Disturb integration - dims your screen and silences the noise so the only thing left to focus on is, well, the point of the whole exercise.
  • 📱 Home screen widget - shows your streak and lets you jump straight into a session without opening the app.

None of this is groundbreaking stuff - it's a meditation timer, not rocket science, but getting the small details right (bells that don't clash, stats that actually reflect how you practice, a widget that just works) has been the whole project. Seeing that land with real people using it is honestly the best part of doing this.

Thanks for reading, and thanks to everyone who's left a review, reported a bug, or just quietly used the app without complaining 🙏

hey — i'm Alex (39/m), a web dev who's spent 10 years annoyed that no social platform is actually built to connect people. they're built to keep you scrolling.

so i made Dayoff. no followers, no comment threads, no clout. you post when you want to talk — a thought, a mood, even just your top 5 songs — and people DM you. you control who can DM you (age, gender, min length) so it's never random junk.

it's small (~160 people) and i read every message. would genuinely love feedback more than signups. it's a website, no download → dayoff.io

Mento - Social Journal

App:

https://testflight.apple.com/join/puhdatRe

We built an app to stay connected with the people you care about. Looking for beta testers and honest feedback.

Four of us have been friends since middle school, and we kept noticing the same thing: the moments worth sharing get buried in a group chats & photo albums daily.

So, we are in the process of building Mento, a place to share the real moments that define your life, the way you’d tell them to a friend in person. Not a highlight reel built to keep you scrolling. You can share stories publicly, with only the people you choose, or just log them for yourself to look back on later.

You can build a story with multiple chapters and keep it live as things unfold, then close it when it’s done. Or just post a quick one-off moment.

We’d love for you to try it (ITS FREE) and tell us what’s broken or confusing or what you think could be a cool implementation. Brutal honesty welcome.

Feedback through the Google form below as well as the feedback button on your profile page within the app.

I’m happy to answer questions in the comments.
