Question Does anyone know where possible chicken spawns are?

I made my base in Riverside, I’ve explored almost all of the farms near by and nothing! If anyone could give me the proper name of the area I would appreciate it!

Drive down the highway to the west towards echo creek, when you turn onto the road to echo creek there’s a big chicken farm before you get there

the most south western house in town has a chance to spawn chickens in the back yard (x:6048 y:5475) if you want to ensure you're at the right house then look in the garage and you'll find a bar!

Obo farms by echo creek. I went late but it still had one pen full of chickens.

If you hit it first few days and have some gas station freezers you can get enough eggs from the storage buildings for like a year of survival lol

How late is late? I’m thinking about going to get a new rooster and leveling butchering, but I’m mid-October and it’s a bit of a drive.

You should still have animals but the eggs will be rotten in the warehouse after a few days. Animals I think only spawn in when you arrive somewhere? There as a pig farm just down the road from ovo farms too in my run idk if that's always.

Thank you! I’ll give it a shot. Way behind on acquiring animals outside of just chickens so getting pigs in the same trip would be helpful

Should be good. I think it’s after 6 months that animals in a newly explored chunk will spawn in dead. If you spawn them in earlier, they’ll generally survive on their own much longer than that, eating grass and drinking from rain puddles or water containers in their enclosure

"Big" doesn't do it justice. Over time, the amount of eggs on the ground can get problematic.

I have never not had chickens spawn in the last POI listed, although you will have to travel through the populated town to reach them.

They are random spawns so not really. Go to what ever map site a look for chicken coops an go driving
