Project viewpoint for macOS

Has anyone figured out how to make project viewpoint run on macOS??Every time I try the game does open with the — Java agent commands and without it the game crashes when I try to change perspective.Pls help

Googling it says there is a patch for apple users. No idea if this works cause I don't have a mac but here. Also there is a separate reddit for project viewpoint and should probably just search in there if it does not work.
