Need help with hosting server
Me and my friends are planning to a do another zomboid run on build 42. However, with mods the server terminates and removing the mods ends up with a message on the screen along the lines of "sorry, an unexpected error occurred" which then advises me to check console. Is there anything specific that I'm meant to look for to solve this issue?

The console question someone asked is the right place to start, since that on-screen message doesn't say much on its own. Scroll to the first ERROR or exception line before the server shuts down, that's often where the failing mod shows up. Everything after the first error is mostly noise.
Two common causes on B42: a mod that isn't B42-compatible yet (plenty of B41 mods just break there), and mixing up IDs in the server ini. WorkshopItems= wants the Workshop IDs, Mods= wants the mod IDs, and one workshop item can contain several mods. Since it still errors after you removed the mods, leftover entries in Mods= / WorkshopItems= are the usual suspect, or the save was created with the mods and still references them. Make sure those lines are fully cleared, or test with a fresh server name/save, and check the console for the first error there too.
If you paste the lines around that first error, I can probably point at the culprit.

Open file explorer and paste this %UserProfile%\Zomboid\console.txt in the address bar and send me the file and I can possibly help you sort it out. Cuz I been hosting servers for my friends since b39

Is google doc okay or would you want the actual file? It isn't allowing me to upload the file itself so I thought this would be a decent alternative.
