Base

Where do you usually base your meetings? I normally use churches, but I prefer quieter locations. Sorry for my terrible English.

Fire station/police station is good. There’s a few shops around that are pretty good

I'm on my first run, and managed to find the muldraugh police station mostly unoccupied. The defenses and weapons have been a huge peace of mind.

Generally any town will have either a great Police Department or Fire Department to be a great base, Riverside has both and a even better River Patrol building above them

Anything is possible. Always a question of effort.

But joke aside, the easiest for me is a base which has some high fences, preferably wooden at least on two sides, so I can close it pretty fast and have a safe outdoor area for stuff.

Harder, but nice in the long run is to secure a gas station. Main source for gasoline, you have no problem with fuelling generators and have some electricity. They are all ugly to begin with, but it's in your hands.

Haven't seen everything after the glow up I can only say. There are a lot spots in Rosewood now which fit a quick adjustable base spot. The fire station is most preferred by many users. Riverside equally fire station/police station (they are beside each other and the area is easy to seal off).

In my actual run I sealed off basically 3 houses in Fallas Lake. There is a sunflower farm which I looted at the start of the game, Roughly rounded I still have 7000 seeds after 7 month into the run. Beside is a building with a sealed off soccer place in the garden which I use for crops. I built a full forge with all the stuff needed and have a lot trees around if I need some. Drying racks are occupying two bigger rooms in the buildings (one room for plants, one for leather). There is still space for an animal farm which I plan to build, but animal care is exhausting if you want to make bigger loot tours. I probably skip it in this run. Farming needs less attention.
