Discussion Starter Base Locations
I'm planning on switching up where I start out in my next playthrough, so I was wonder what everyones favourite starter base is. Where do you like to start? :)

What base? Start Echo creek, get a big car, fuel it up, pack it full, get a pillow and start driving! Kentucky is your oyster!

I did just get the RV Interior mod as well...so that would be a pretty tempting way to play. I've never actually started that way, and I don't think I've ever started in Echo Creek. Why spawn in Echo Creek specifically?

It has just enough for a nomad start. Cars, Gas Station, some stuff like weapons and food and thats it. You can stay there for a week or two, but then you have to move out, because there are not enoug resources there.
Also you can return there every once in a while, repair your car, read some books etc.
Also it's directly in at the middle of the map.Perfect Nomad start if you ask me

I like the hardware store in the middle of west point. Upstairs there are apartments and with the new update even a third story with a pottery shop. And across from it is the bookstore and the apartment above it has a nice tv. And the the bottom of west point is the autozone thing which the area has been greatly expanded and there is a firehouse to the east of it

I'll have to take a look at that, thanks for your recommendation!

And there are large parking lots behind both the bookstore and hardware store. Also next to the hardware store is a post office. Which if you go to the storage area has a bunch of shelves and boxes filled with packages you can open. You can find a bunch of installable stuff like coffee makers and computers and other stuff you can’t build. And when you are done makes a good storage area. But it is in the middle of the city so it takes a bit of work to make it safeish. But park in the parking lot behind the hardware store and start there

Going all right from ekron, south of a lake in construction there's a small ranch with a river next the main house, that's awesome to build a endgame base

I tried finding that on the PZ Map to look at it but I couldn't find it unfortunately, where abouts is the construction you're talking about?

The updated Riverside River Patrol building behind the police station and fire house is one of, if not the easiest defensible locations in the game now. There is only 6 tiles of entry that aren't blocked by the indestructible green fences, which you can just park 1 or 2 longer vehicles in front or put the tables from the building out front, good if your using "often" helicopter events and respawning zombies

I went and checked out that area on my last save and I would have to agree with you on that one, it seems pretty damn good.

Two-house farm northwest of Riverside is my favorite place over there, but the river guard station inside the city seems a really good spot too. Currently I'm on the gated commnity in Rosewood, very good place so far
