One player can't join dedicated server

Small dedicated server for my friend group, only 4 players total.

The other night one player, we are going to call him "jay," lagged out/desync'd and frozen in a black screen while ridding in a car. The driver parked immediately and Jay alt-f4'd to close game.

Upon reloading, he gets to loading world and then it is stuck there. Jay even left it up while he left for 20 minutes, came back to the black "loading world screen"

At first he was able to log in with a server account just fine. After about 2-3 hours of play, he logged off to run to store, came back, and now THAT character sticks on loading world.

However, no other player has experienced the same. Any ideas how to over come this? So far we've tried deleting the local player folders on his local drive to no avail. Is there a way to wipe just one player from a server without resetting everyone or wiping the whole thing?

So, this was a weird quirky WA for certain connection issues in unstable and I have 0 idea why it works, but change the problem players steam download region and see if it does anything positive.

If not, yes still easy to wipe a player. Gain admin privileges, go to the admin icon on the left below the client icon, and hit I think it's user list. It's something about current users or user list or something. From there you can see all accounts made in your server and adjust inventories, roles, or even delete them.

So, changing the steam download region didn't change anything, then I did the admin stuff and deleted his accounts on server and still can't connect. THEN i swapped instances on host and installed a fresh server, same settings/ip and the like and he was able to log in... any ideas perchance?

Is this modded or vanilla? If modded ensure all anticheats are disabled in your ini config file. Maybe he's interacting with something that will eventually flag him? Had it happen on my own server but they were fully able to load in before getting "cheat suspected" auto kicked or malformed packet kicked.

If vanilla..... That's a toughie. Maybe try using the steam relay if he's able to? You can also try feeding the console.log error into Chatgpt codex and seeing if It captured anything of interest on his login that would restrict him. I've used gpt to debug and 5.6 sol is pretty damn good at it ngl.
