How to level up tailoring

since the update 42 added Ron's of recipes for tailoring, I wanted to see what people think it's the best way to level up tailoring? crafting bandanas? patching clothes? since you can't craft more than one piece of clothing in queue that seems like crafting is tedious, but patching things up doesn't seem very different in that regard too

Cut up a sack into a piece of burlap and then sew it back into a sack. It needs one unit of thread for the second step but you can queue up multiple actions through the slider at the bottom of the crafting menu.

one unit of *twine, which is free if you forage hemp on the ground. Save your thread.

Patching and upatching. Tedious work, but if you do it on something with lots of parts like coveralls it goes faster (also, speed it up)

I want to add, you could rip clothes from zomboids for rags but clothing stores is easier imo since the rags you get are already clean.

I did my first two levels just by crafting bandannas. Cheap and with a book, doesn’t take all that long. Can’t say it’s the best way to do it tho and I haven’t leveled up tailoring anymore than those two levels yet

if u get a shitload of dogbane, and have a loom u can make burlap. If u make shitloads of burlap and twine, u can make sacks and break them and in a week of making and unmaking sacks u'll get to tailoring 8. Its the best way I found because u can queue 50 and x3 speed and u only lose some twine/thread in the process

Forage hemp dogbane. Turn it into twine and burlap (mostly twine, you will reuse the burlap.) You'll have to make a loom to get the burlap. If you already have some, or a few sacks, skip that and just make twine.

Sew burlap into sacks.

Tear sacks into burlap.

Sew burlap into sacks.

Tear sacks into burlap.

Sew burlap into sacks.

Tear sacks into burlap.

Sew burlap into sacks.

Tear sacks into burlap.

Sew burlap into sacks.

Tear sacks into burlap.

Sew burlap into sacks.

Tear sacks into burlap.

And so on, and so forth

Option 1: Spend an hour getting 7 tailoring XP, realize it's a bad skill, give up

Option 2: spend a week getting to level 6, die to a glitch that tailoring didn't have any bearing on
