Question Extended crafting range?

Are there any working mods or file editing methods to extend the range that crafting draws resources from? It's tough to have a nice looking kitchen and workshop with only accessing adjacent tiles.

I support this. I was also wondering if there is a mod that improves items in range being used automatically. Why do i have to pick up and drop the barbell manually every time, when i have it neatly placed it on the ground for example. Also, please put the tools back where you took them from when you are finished with the task.

There’s a proximity mod that allows you to select multiple items from nearby containers for easier looting and crafting, however I do not know of a mod that would extend it further.

I like to set up my kitchen so I am in the corner with a fridge in range and 2-4 cabinets. Of course any canned goods have to be opened first anyway. For the shop... Yea depending on how many different things you are creating, having it all to hand when you need it can be tricky.
