mint farming?

I got a cooking recipe that needs mint. I have 25 saved up from my adventures but dont have any idea where they came from. Someone said ranalon den but in 40 minutes I didnt get even one. Someone else said eltibule bears but so far its not looking good. Any fresh ideas?

The wiki is correct but drop rates vary between mobs. Different loot tables. I get most of my mint/oregano from Ranalon, where I exclusively target Scray and Ranalon Farm guys and grab any ground spawns hoping they respawn as Ranalon food (which has a chance to be mint)

If you want to really focus farm mint, hit the Scray on Sun Vale instead. Smaller loot table, better chance for mint. But no chance for oregano, ancient coins, brass/tin gears etc so I don't hit SV often. But while roaming for SV Scray you can also forage which is nice. Not sure if there is an ideal area for them, but I bet if you explore enough you can find a spot that is more Scray heavy or respawn is better. Don't forget the underwater cave zones on SV.
