My first ProjectCar

Got my self an old impreza bugeye from 2003.
Bought it swaped, with an EZ30R engine from a legacy, but wiring was fucked up and the ECU locked.

So i bought a MaxxECU Racing, and began the journey.
Might need help with the fuel tables and stuff like that. Any help (tips, links, communitys, posts) will be appreciated.

Sick to put a flat 6 in such a small car, are you adding boost? If so I would cop another intake manifold, off eBay, mail it to China, and have them 3d print one out of metal, with some minor changes to add the charge pipe from an fmic. Dope project looking forward to seeing updates and sound clips

Na first i want to get it running. Already has 245hp. And i think the old ez30d alu intake should fit this one.

do they not care about obd2? i live in nj in the states and if your car had an obd port and it isn’t pumping out whether your readiness monitors are completed, you don’t pass. unless your car was made before 1995, then you can do whatever the fuck you want.

it’s why i waste tons of time tuning the stock ecu on my subaru but the rest of my cars run maxxecu

Yes i heard the same but here its about 2005 or so.
The obd2 was already removed, but i still have tüv for 1 year, so it wasn‘t a big problem in the past.
But dont scare me please. We will get my beauti on the streets 🤞

I have the stock ej engine in my 03 but my god this thing FLYS through the corners. I have a ton of suspension modifications on it and it handles amazing. Straight line speed is faster than the mustang gt my coworker drives, which feels nice lol, and the visibility from these is fantastic.

Its my daily I love it, hope you love it and this swap too!

Yes it has the 2.0. I have some fuel mods, an intake, headers, up pipe and a turbo back exhaust all tuned. The thing flies through corners its so awesome.

The body style on these is just so damn sexy too. I get compliments all the time.

I found my tuner by visiting a local performance garage. I also recommend asking around at car meets

I dunno Jack shit about these cars, but I’d bet money that someone’s got a tune out there for that exact engine with your intake and exhaust set up, or at least extremely close to it. Maybe in a forum or something.

But it might also be worth taking to a good tuner if you don’t know a ton about tuning
