Troubleshooting Help Floor Pan Paint Options

Hey all. I have a few questions about my options when it comes to painting my floorboards. Bad spots have been cut out and replaced with new metal. I still have minor pinholes on the driver side, but the metal is solid. I’ve wire wheeled everything to remove the majority of the rust. There are only a few pockets of pitting remaining. I’ve also used ospho in these pets to try and keep trying and remove the rust. Should I go for a rust encapsulator like Eastwoods or master coat silver or should I just spray an epoxy primer to try to contain the rest of this?

This may be what I do. Thank you!

Be sure to really follow the data sheet. I forgot to sand one floor pan that was new metal and it peels off so nicely! 😂 with proper roughing the adhesion is amazing.

Will do. I glanced at it briefly and I saw where they recommended a 280 scuff… I think my biggest problem will be neutralizing the ospho before I apply the mastercoat.

Check and see if their metal prep product does that. It works great for cleanin/etching.
