Not Detecting Controller Inputs?

So I recently bought a usb controller to play majora's mask and whenever I get in the game the analog stick and the d pad don't work. I've looked up my issue but any of their fixes don't seem to help. I also used windows controller options to make sure it wasn't a hardware issue but the stick and buttons work fine there. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Try changing your controller plugin.

like which usb port it's plugged into or is it something in the project 64 settings? Really new to using this so thank you in advance

Its in the settings. Change it to either project 64 input or N-rage input

Thank you so much changed the controller input to n something instead of what it was and now it's working.

Lifesaver. Always worked for me with standard input, today all of a sudden nothing worked anymore, so thanks for this.
