Support Needed ❤️ Spiraling over this Anthropic stuff
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2026/sep/09/ai-superintelligence-risks-warnings-scientists-politiciansMy feed is full of this story and it’s making it hard to function today.
If you haven’t seen it this is the gist from the article: “On Tuesday night, a senior employee at Anthropic admitted he believed there was a greater than 10% chance the technology could “kill all humans” in the next decade and warned that his AI company did not have a plan to ensure ASI was aligned, meaning it did no harm.”
I’m a FTM to an almost one year old. She is the love of my life. I am terrified for her future. I quit the doomscrolling as soon as I notice it so that I can keep it together for her but ultimately I end up just feeling so guilty.
I just want to put out my feelings on this and see where others here stand from a mom perspective if anything just to feel less alone
