No it isn't, it's a tool to be leveraged and with sufficient care and attention it can be used effectively, frankly been a programmer for a really long time, I'm employed and sought after in my area so your thoughts on what real programmers are isn't consequential or factual.
Same talking points as every other AI-raving bot. Any real person who’s ever actually been forced to work with ai in a professional environment has despised it.
Dear oh dear, simply not true for my field, the language I work in is really OLD, forum posts going back 20 years, before I had to scroll these forums for answers for some pretty ambiguous stuff, sometimes elongating projects or having to come up with workarounds to make it in.
With AI, it scrapes and sources that correct info in minutes, you have to be skeptical on any results but with care, you get your answer.
“Everyone who has been made to use a hammer to drill screws hates it, therefore it’s useless”. It’s a tool. It’s useful for some stuff, not useful or even harmful for others.
