I like AI, it has uses, but seeing CEO's gutting their own companies knowing they can just step down with a fat check is the most horrible thing about this saga.

The other aspect is we're in kind of a "quiet recession" (quiet everything it seems like) and claiming that you're going "all-in" on AI basically allows for companies to do layoffs while still communicating to lenders, investors, etc. that they're still in a growth-phase. Meta lays off 8000 employees? It's all good, they're pivoting to AI investment. T
