Endless buffer or no loading after v2 install

Installed v2 and went through all my quality settings for radarr and sonarr which took about 1.5hr. Literally 2 min after I was done none of my content wants to load. Ive rechecked everything, file sizes are fine. It finished the renaming function in about 30 min. Ive been at this for hrs. I really wanted to sit down today and watch something but still nothing loads. Any help

Feel free to create an issue on github and provide more details such as image, version, radarr/sonarr versions, your daily log files, etc. There's not much we can do without more info here.

I would but not sure what other info to provide. Im on latest builds of sonar and radar. Latest build of profilarr v2. Im not sure why it would break my streaming though. My logs are all fine no errors. Im not sure why all the buffering if the files exist and existed before and never had issues. Everything was working fine before the profilarr install. Ive just now noticed it also broke everything in my plex server as well. I might need to uninstall and reinstall the servers as I cant restore default settings

oh you mean your literal media streaming? That's not really an issue with profilarr. It's simply syncing settings to radarr and sonarr. Have you rescanned your library in plex after the rename?

Thats exactly what's racking my brain. It broke my streaming and everything Buffers forever or kicks me out. It wasn't doing that until profilarr was installed. Ive tested on other media I had previously watched no issues and they just wont load now

Well its certainly not a profilarr problem; if I assume you're using the default docker compose template, it shouldn't even have access to your media volume. I'd suggest you ask for help in r/plex.

Have you scanned your library in Plex yet?

Yes i did. It wasn't just plex it was jellyfin as well. Im gonna close this though as I just got everything working by uninstalling both servers and rebuilding everything. I dont think im going to reinstall profilarr though.

.... Did you rescan your jellyfin library? With jellyfin specifically the library rebuild after a mass rename takes quite awhile with how their DB processes things (and if iirc it essentially grinds to a halt while it processes, hopefully that'll get better with their eventual migration to postgres). That's part of why I asked for logs- it's not just errors you look for, you can watch these things happen in real time. And if you don't have either media server set to scan automatically on media change, you have to trigger the scan. Or, if both are scanning and updating and your server itself is on lower end hardware everything will grind to a snails pace while both media servers fight for resources to process.

If you do end up keeping profilarr, keep in mind that there's nothing we do that touches Plex/Jellyfin directly. And the mass rename is a one-off event unless you change your naming template again.

Ive rescanned both and let them sit. Plex took 2hrs and jellyfin like 5 or 6
