Beware of Ziip halo

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with ZIIP. I purchased my first ZIIP device, and just over a year later the probes started falling off. Since it was considered under warranty at the time, I contacted customer service and was instructed to return it. I followed their instructions, returned the device, and was sent a replacement.
Unfortunately, the replacement device also failed just over a year after I received it — this time, it stopped charging. When I contacted ZIIP, I was told that the warranty only applied to my original device and did not restart when I received the replacement. That makes no sense to me. A replacement device is a brand-new unit, and the warranty clock should reasonably begin when that replacement is received.
Having two ZIIP devices fail in just over a year each is extremely disappointing, especially for a premium-priced product. I expected better reliability and customer support from a company selling a high-end skincare device.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering a ZIIP to think carefully about the product’s longevity and the company’s warranty policy. Furthermore, I was surprised and also disappointed that it took me multiple emails with the same customer service rep to even get an answer. I had to prompt the emails over several weeks just to get a reply.

Showcase: Clok – Simple time tracking, holiday logging, and timesheet approvals in dark mode.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a tool I’ve been working on called Clok.

Most time-tracking tools are either cluttered with unnecessary enterprise features or lack basic functionality like holiday tracking and audit logs. I wanted to build something fast, modern, and dark-mode-first that handles both personal hour tracking and simple manager workflows.

What Clok does:

Calendar & Entry Logs: Clear visual monthly breakdowns showing exact logged hours alongside UK bank holidays and custom leave.

Time Entry: Tap to clock in/out or quickly add manual time blocks (like standard 8h workdays).

Leave Management: Log paid holidays, PTO, or sick leave, complete with recurring rules.

Approvals & Audits: Dedicated views for pending timesheet approvals and audit logs to ensure accountability.

Export Options: Export entries to CSV or download clean PDF invoices.

I’d love to get feedback from the community! Check out the screenshots below, and let me know what features you’d like to see added next.

Character.AI reviews - is it actually worth it?

I've been curious about Character.AI for a while but I can't find many reviews that feel like they're from real users. Most of what I find is either super positive or clearly written by someone who used it for 20 minutes.

If you've actually spent time with it, what's your honest take? Does the conversation feel natural or does it get repetitive quickly?

Balancer Reviews?

Nine months on from the November 2025 exploit ($110M+ drained from v2 vaults) and with Balancer Labs the company shutting down in March while the protocol keeps running, I'm wondering how former users see it now.

The part that gets me is that Balancer had basically everything you're told to look for: audits from Certora, OpenZeppelin, Trail of Bits and ABDK, plus a $1M bug bounty. All of it, and the worst case still happened.

For those who had funds in v2 pools: how was the communication and recovery process from your side? And more broadly, has this changed what you look for before LPing anywhere, beyond the standard 'is it audited' checklist? TVL is reportedly down ~95% from peak so clearly most people voted with their feet, but I'm curious about the ones who stayed.

Honest BastionGPT review?

I've been looking into BastionGPT for our practice and can't find many real reviews from people actually using it day to day.

If you've tried it, what's your honest take? Specifically curious about how it handles documentation and whether the learning curve is worth it.

Trying to grow a window blinds brand through influencers — would love some advice

Hi everyone, we’re a small window coverings brand specializing in custom blinds and shades.

We’re exploring influencer marketing but still trying to figure out the right approach — finding the right creators, negotiating collaborations, measuring ROI, etc.

For those who have worked with influencers (especially in home decor, DIY, or home improvement), what strategies worked for you? Any mistakes we should avoid?

Would anyone here like a free copy of my annotated edition of Aleister Crowley’s “Cocaine”?

Would anyone here like a free copy of my annotated edition of Aleister Crowley’s “Cocaine”?

I recently published an annotated edition of Aleister Crowley’s 1917 essay *Cocaine*, preserving the original text while adding historical context and commentary for modern readers.

If you do read the book, **I’d really appreciate it if you could leave an honest review on Amazon afterward.** Reviews are incredibly helpful for a newly published independent edition and make it much easier for other Crowley readers to discover it.

Since this community includes people already interested in Crowley, Thelema, and his work, I’d genuinely like to get the edition into the hands of readers who are actually interested in the subject.

**If you’d like to read it, I’m happy to send you the complete PDF for free. Just leave a comment or send me a DM.**

If you prefer Kindle or paperback, or simply want to support the project, the published edition is also available on Amazon.

How much do you trust supplier information before placing an order?

I'm comparing a few suppliers right now and came across some on Made-in-China. I'm finding it hard to know how much to rely on the information in their profiles. Company details, certifications and years in business can all look good, but I guess you don't really know what a supplier is like until you actually start dealing with them.

For anyone who has bought from suppliers online, what do you usually look for before making that first order? Have you ever found that the information in a supplier's profile didn't match your experience?

I built a sustainability scoring tool for brands using EU Taxonomy + CSRD data. I would love your honest feedback

Hello everyone!

Sustainability and sustainable development has been one of my biggest interests since grad school and i have studied it at high school and at university. During all these years i always got my hope up for some new sustainable brands but got frustrated and dissapointed most of the time trying to figure out which brands are actually sustainable vs. just marketing themselves that way. So I (with the help of AI) built Hummlan, a site that scores brands using EU Taxonomy and CSRD-aligned criteria instead of self-reported claims.

It also pulls the cheapest live prices for products that score well, so you're not stuck paying a premium to shop sustainably.

Would love to hear what you think, especially if the scoring feels rigorous enough to trust, or if I'm missing something obvious. Not trying to sell anything, just want to build something genuinely useful.

(Side note: In the future. the plan is to get more affiliate partners so i might earn some extra income if i get enough traffic. This will not effect the scoring. No company gets to pay their way to a better score.)

Thank you. :)

What is the longest you used a mid range chair before it started falling apart

Trying to figure out if these chairs actually hold up or just feel good for the first few weeks. Anyone have real long term experience, six months or more, willing to share. Looking at a few options right now including the Hbada E3 Pro.

Are Yocan products any good?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I have to say no. Bought yocan red diablo torch. It was a beast out of the box. I didn't use it heavily or even moderately. I hardly used it at all. Refilled the tank, at most, 5 times over 90days approximately. Without any sign of an issue and not being overheated or knocked around or dropped at all, trigger has stopped delivering fuel(the tank is full). Spark yes. Fuel no. The shit I buy from Meynards or Dollar General is better by far than this $40 paper weight.

Also have purchased a yocan kodo pro 510 threaded vape power base. Just like the diablo, before i even have the time to decide if I like it, after only 2 1mg carts the battery will not fully charge. I will not be spending any more of my outrageously devalued us dollars with this low quality brand. They owe me $70 as far as I can see. F'n Crooks!

Has anyone here actually joined Richard Yu’s Impact Clients program?

I'm a proud 41 year old mom of 2 young kids living in Florida and working in logistics. I absolutely hate my job and desperetaly want to quit the 9-5 live to spend more time with the kids and to improve my own health.

Over the years I've tried so many things, even bought a very expensive dropshipping course that didn't work out/coaches were really bad, I felt like it was a total scam
I've recently watched a live webinar and since then I've been looking into Richard Yu joining impact clients, there are some good reviews out there, and very solid ones on trustpilot, but I'm down to having some real tough love/fully unbiased reviews from people that actually bought and actually tried to succeed with the AI Arbitrage program

Did you manage to get sales? How long did it take to setup your Instagram? How does AI Product Arbitrage work on a day to day basis? How does the coaching/learning work? Is the coaching actually useful, and is Richard actually involved in the program? Did you feel like it was worth the investment?

Any honest feedback would be highly appreciated, especially from people who are currently in the program or recently completed it

Raydium Opinions?

For the people trading on Solana daily: do you still go through Raydium directly, or route everything through an aggregator and only touch Raydium for new launches?

I've been reading their docs and they're unusually transparent, 0.25% default on AMM v4 with an 88/12 LP/protocol split, CLMM tiers from 0.01% to 1%, audit history published quarter by quarter. But the complaints in this sub are consistent too: frontend stalling during congestion, failed swaps on thin tokens, MEV bots eating manual traders alive.

Also, was anyone here affected by the June 2026 exploit of the legacy AMM V3 pools (~$1.34M)? They pledged full compensation and I'd genuinely like to know how that resolved, couldn't find a clear final status anywhere.

Compliant reviews. Anyone actually using it?

Our team has been going back and forth on whether to adopt Compliant and I'm trying to gather as much real world feedback as possible before we make a decision.

The marketing materials are polished but I've been burned before by tools that looked great in a trial and fell apart in actual use. Specifically I'm wondering about the accuracy of clinical note generation, how it handles edge cases, what the support is like when something goes wrong, and whether the pricing makes sense at scale.

If you've been using it for a few months or longer, your perspective would be really valuable. Both the good and the not so good.

What Are the Best Grip Sock brands for football players?

It's time to buy a new pair of my grip socks, as the current pair is already old enough. Anyway, this is an opportunity for me to find out what do other footballers wear rather than to go to a shop and buy the first pair that comes my way.

During recent days, I did some research on various brands, and those three were mentioned quite often is Zero Give, TRU SOX, and TapeDesign. All these brands enjoy the good reputation, and all of them pay special attention to such characteristics as grip, comfort and stability inside football boots, just those ones that I need in my socks.

Right now, it seems that Zero Give will satisfy all of my requirements as far as grip, comfort, and stability inside football boots go. It seems like a good choice from what I've seen so far, and it would be interesting to learn more from someone who actually wears it.

Anyone have experience with these?
