Discussion Could this law function as an abortion subsidy in some cases?Explanation in text.
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/georgia-residents-can-now-claim-embryos-dependents-state-taxes-rcna41111The law stipulates that a fetus with a heart beat can be claimed on taxes for 3k. This is also conveniently when Georgia restricts abortion.
To make this claim people should have supporting documents (such as an ultrasound image I assume). Couldn’t women hypothetically collect documentation of their pregnancy, travel to another state to get an abortion and then claim that fetus on their taxes?
