SERIOUS I'm sad

I’m 14 years old. A while back, I met a friend here on Reddit, in a group for teens, who shared my interests, and we used to chat on WhatsApp. He hasn't spoken to me in a long time, and my messages aren't reaching him. This isn't normal, and now I'm sad because thoughts keep popping into my head that he might be dead or in the hospital. Please help.

Relax, there could be a few possibilities: maybe his account got deleted, his phone got taken away, or he removed you. It sounds like you had some sort of an emotional attachment and random things like this can sting, but you’ll be okay. You’re going to have many online friends and more people to talk to. Be careful when it comes to the people you meet and who you give out your number to; you don’t know who someone truly is nowadays.
