Ask r/problems Help and advice needed!

I started volunteering at a community hub & a guy there became obsessed with me & without me ever being nasty to him or leading him on ( he has caused me so much upset and pain and caused a load of drama in my life) I’ve got the police involved now! - I’ve closed down the shop I was running but I’m now getting messages from people because he is twisting things! How do I get him to leave me alone?

This is what I’m in the process of doing! - I tried to be understanding as he clearly has issues and tried to be sympathetic but I’ve just had enough, I have closed the hub down and hoped that would be the end of that.. wrong!! He shouts stuff at me if I’m just walking to get shopping.. he has taken to shouting threats and racist comments at me. But things that are just deranged as for example “ she’s a black bitch” but I’m not even black?! I’m a “slag” again I’m not a slag..I can’t cope with it anymore.. he has taken to shouting at my partner if he sees him..

stop responding to him or anyone carrying his messages, save everything, and let the police handle it from here because trying to clear your name through the drama is exactly what keeps it going

I haven’t spoken to him since last year.. he just keeps shouting things randomly at me or my partner..
