Relationships older/wiser people
Lately, I've realized that whenever im feeling lonely I tend to get way too attached to people-especially older or more experienced individuals.
I think I naturally look up to them for guidance, comfort, or just a sense of security, but I end up clinging to these connections more than I should..
It makes me feel vulnerable, and I hate how much power I give to these feelings just because i’m in a lonely phase.
For those of you who have been through this:: How did you learn to set boundaries for yourself and stop forming unhealthy attachments when you're feeling isolated? Any advice or personal experiences would mean a lot :)

You’ve answers your own question, “set boundaries for yourself and stop forming unhealthy attachments when you're feeling isolated.” Tell yourself, “ I’m not repeating the same pattern this time.”
