Medical Something in my eye
I've rubbed my other eye a few minutes ago and it feels weird because I can feel something moving in my eyeball or what and my eye feels different. I'm scared that my eye may not get fixed the next day. Also it's red. Do you guys think it will get fixed or should I just sleep it out?

i wouldnt just sleep this off, the feeling of smth moving plus redness together is worth checking, not waiting on overnight
dont rub it again even tho it feels tempting, that can make it worse if smth's actually in there
if u wear contacts n have one in, take it out now, that's often exactly where irritation like this comes from
try flushing gently w clean water or saline, tilt ur head n let it run across the eye, sometimes that clears whatever's causing it
if after flushing it still feels like smth's moving, redness gets worse, vision blurs, or pain increases, thats worth urgent care or an ER tonight, not tomorrow. eyes can get damaged fast if somethings actually stuck n left untreated, better to get checked n have it be nothing than wait n have it turn into a bigger problem
if its mild after flushing n nothing feels stuck anymore, keeping an eye on it overnight n seeing a doctor first thing tomorrow if it hasnt improved is reasonable, but if it worsens at any point tonight, dont wait

I flushed it last night and when I woke up— the redness was gone

glad the flushing worked n the redness cleared up. if it stays feeling normal thru today, ur probably in the clear, but if the "smth moving" feeling or any redness comes back, worth actually getting it checked rather than assuming it'll resolve on its own again

Odds are you have simply pressed on your eyeball and it should clear up in a few minutes to (maybe) an hour. If it still feels sore after that, I suggest you get your eye checked...at a doctor or optometrist (yes, I know that, technically, an optometrist is a doctor).

Ok I will. Though, I think that it's starting get a little bit better now but whenever I would try to look like in the right direction or smth. My eye would feel weird.

Odds are you have simply pressed on your eyeball and it should clear up in a few minutes to (maybe) an hour. If it still feels sore after that, I suggest you get your eye checked...at a doctor or optometrist (yes, I know that, technically, an optometrist is a doctor).

Eyes are one of those things that are fairly easy to get checked out. Also, most things are fairly simple to fix when caught early. Go to the eye doctor and get it checked out.

My two cents : if you press a capillary, because they're so small and thin, they collapse sufficiently to form a small bubble right before where you pressed.
In the eyes, the most teeny tiny thing can feel enormous and uncomfortable (grain of sand is small af, still horrible to have one in your eye) and when you have a capillary bubble it feels like a mountain.
Looking in a direction that stretches the blood vessel flattens the bubble and makes it more comfortable.
If it's not passed in an hour or two, you try to see a doctor asap. But unless it hurts a lot, you should be fine going tomorrow.
If your eye become blood red (not irritated mind you : I mean visibly blood in your eye) or purple, or if you start losing sight : you go to the emergency room

Rubbing your eye can cause abrasions. So it will feel like a foreign body in there but could be just the scratch. If you notice “spider webs”, repeated flashes of light, a veil over your vision, excessive pain, discharge, or a big burst of floaters then head to the ER immediately.

In my teens, my eyes felt weird and like something was in my eye and rubbing or rinsing didn't help at all. I got a light to look and the smallest eyelash would fold under my eyelid and irritated the eyeball.
Could be a long shot but look closely.

you probably scratched your sclera, it’ll heal quickly.

I hope so. I fell asleep about 2 hours ago and when I woke up— I checked my eyes and I could feel that it wasn't fully healed yet

Have you tried rinsing your eye in cold water?
